1. Requirements for power supply of chromatographic workstation

The power grid system that provides power support for the chromatography workstation requires continuous stability; Avoid using the same source and line as high-power power electrical systems in the factory; In addition, install a regulated power supply in front of the workstation power supply.

2. Grounding

Chromatography detectors and computer hosts require grounding, and grounding wires must not be connected to water pipes or other iron pipes for drainage.

3. The chromatographic workstation has no signal

⑴ Confirm if the power supply is damaged. If the power light is not on, it is possible that the power supply has been damaged

If the power light is on, the workstation can be installed on another computer. Without connecting to the chromatography instrument, check if the chromatography workstation has a signal. If there is no signal, it may be due to hardware damage to the workstation. In this situation, the workstation hardware can be returned to the manufacturer for repair.

If there is a signal from the chromatography workstation on another computer, it may be because the serial port of the computer where the workstation is installed is damaged. It is recommended to replace it with another serial port or a new computer to install the chromatography workstation.

4. The chromatography workstation software is unstable

It is recommended to first check and kill the virus. If the problem cannot be solved, the only option is to reinstall the operating system (which is a genuine operating system)

Try not to use computers with chromatography workstations for internet access, and do not casually use other unpasteurized floppy disks or CDs to prevent cross infection of viruses.

6. During the calibration process, it appears that the area or concentration of certain peaks is zero

Check if the concentrations of all component peaks in the composition table have been set, and if the time interval setting is appropriate. If the time interval is set too large, it may misjudge other peaks as component peaks. If it is set too small, it may not be enough to identify all concentration component peaks *. In short, the time interval setting should be just right, neither too large nor too small.
