Artificial climate chambers can meet diverse research requirements
Date: 2025-11-25Read: 18
The artificial climate chamber can accurately simulate various natural environments without being limited by geographical, seasonal, and other natural conditions, providing an ideal experimental site for scientific research, teaching, and production. The experimental conditions can be standardized, making it easy to conduct multiple repeated experiments and facilitating data comparison and analysis as well as reliability verification of results. Being able to conduct experiments in a controlled environment reduces dependence on the external natural environment, improves experimental efficiency, and reduces resource waste caused by external interference.
A closed space design can prevent the spread of harmful substances or organisms in an open environment, ensuring the health and safety of workers and preventing pollution to the surrounding environment; Energy saving technologies such as efficient insulation materials, energy-saving lighting equipment, and intelligent temperature control systems are commonly used to effectively reduce energy consumption; It can provide long-term stable experimental conditions for plant growth, ecological research, etc., accelerate or delay the growth process of organisms, thereby shortening the research cycle and accelerating scientific research progress; Various environmental parameter combinations can be flexibly set according to different experimental purposes and needs to meet diverse research requirements; The equipped intelligent management system makes operation more convenient, reduces the need for manual intervention, and achieves automated operation without human supervision.

Measurement steps for artificial climate chamber:
1. Experimental preparation
-Clear purpose and scheme design: Determine the experimental content, objectives, and specific parameter setting range to be conducted in an artificial climate chamber based on research needs, such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, and duration, and develop a detailed experimental plan.
-Sample preparation: Select suitable experimental samples to ensure their representativeness and good condition. Perform necessary preprocessing on the samples, such as cleaning, disinfection, etc., to ensure the accuracy of the experiment. At the same time, record the initial feature information of the sample for subsequent comparative analysis.
-Equipment inspection and calibration: Before use, check whether all equipment in the artificial climate chamber is working properly, including temperature and humidity sensors, lighting systems, ventilation devices, etc. If necessary, calibrate the relevant instruments to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data.
2. Parameter setting
-Temperature setting: According to the experimental requirements, accurately set the required temperature value through the control panel or related software. Some complex experiments may require setting different temperature stages or cycling modes, and accurate input should be carried out according to the predetermined program.
-Humidity regulation: Choose the appropriate humidification or dehumidification method to adjust the humidity to the target level. Usually, ultrasonic humidifiers can be used to increase humidity, while methods such as condensation dehumidification can be used to reduce humidity. Similarly, for experiments with special humidity changes, corresponding change curves need to be set up.
-Lighting control: Set the lighting time, intensity, and spectral composition (if supported by the equipment) based on the photoperiod requirements of the experimental subjects. For example, when simulating natural circadian rhythms, a certain period of light and dark periods can be set; When studying the effects of different light qualities on organisms, specific wavelength ranges of light are selected for irradiation.
-Adjustment of other environmental factors: If the experiment involves factors such as wind speed and air pressure, corresponding adjustments and controls should also be made in an artificial climate chamber as needed.
3. Operation monitoring
-Real time observation: After starting the artificial climate chamber, closely observe the stability of the internal environment and the reaction of the samples. Pay attention to whether there are any abnormal phenomena, such as excessive temperature fluctuations, uncontrolled humidity, equipment failure alarms, etc.
-Data recording: Using the built-in data recording system or externally connected devices, regularly collect and save environmental parameter data as well as changes in relevant indicators of the sample. These data will provide important basis for subsequent analysis.
-Regular inspection: During the experiment, regularly enter the artificial climate chamber for inspection to check the growth status of the samples and whether the equipment is operating normally. Timely identify and solve problems to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment.
