1、 Working principle and characteristics

Rolling rotor compressor, also known as rolling piston compressor or fixed slide compressor, is a type of rotary compressor. It uses an eccentric cylindrical rotor to rotate inside the cylinder to change the working volume, in order to achieve gas suction, compression, and discharge, and therefore also belongs to a positive displacement compressor.





2、 Structure
At present, there are two main forms of rolling rotor compressors produced: 1) large open type compressors, which mostly use ammonia as the working fluid and are only produced by Swiss company Escherweis; 2) Small fully enclosed compressors, generally with a standard cooling capacity of less than 3kW, are widely used in small refrigeration, refrigeration, and air conditioning units. Small rolling rotor compressors are divided into two types: horizontal and vertical. At present, horizontal refrigerators and freezers are used, while vertical air conditioners are mostly used.
