In the continuous excavation process of tunnel engineering, the complex geological structure and construction activities interact with each other, which can easily lead to a series of safety hazards, among which the production of toxic and harmful gases (such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, radon gas, etc.) and flammable and explosive gases (such as methane, hydrogen, etc.) is particularly prominent. Once the concentration of these gases exceeds the standard, it will not only seriously threaten the life and health of on-site workers, leading to accidents such as poisoning and suffocation, but also may cause major safety accidents such as explosions and fires, bringing incalculable losses to the entire engineering project. However, due to the special enclosed environment inside the tunnel and geographical limitations, there are widespread issues The situation where 4G signals cannot effectively cover requires the construction of a real-time gas monitoring system. This system should have the function of accurately and real-time monitoring the concentration of various gases inside the tunnel, and transmit the monitoring data to the outside of the tunnel in a timely manner for on-site operators to view at any time. At the same time, the data needs to be synchronously uploaded to the cloud platform so that users can break through the limitations of time and space and obtain on-site information anytime and anywhere by logging into the cloud platform.
