Guidelines and precautions for using a constant temperature and humidity light incubator
Date: 2025-06-15Read: 32
Constant temperature and humidity light incubatorIt is widely used in biological experiments, agricultural research, and some industrial testing fields. Correctly mastering its usage methods is crucial for obtaining accurate experimental results and good cultivation effects.
1、 Preparation before use
Before use, it should be placed in a stable and well ventilated location, avoiding direct sunlight and being close to heat sources or damp walls, to ensure that the surrounding environment does not affect its normal operation and heat dissipation. At the same time, carefully check whether the power cords, plugs, etc. of the equipment are intact to prevent safety hazards such as leakage.
Next, according to the specific needs of cultivation, prepare corresponding cultivation containers, culture media, and samples to be cultivated, such as plant seeds, microbial culture dishes, etc., and place them reasonably on the shelves of the cultivation box. Be careful not to block the ventilation openings and light sources inside the box to ensure air circulation and uniform lighting.

2、 Parameter setting steps
After turning on the power of the incubator, enter the parameter setting interface through the operation panel. The first step is temperature setting. Based on the requirements of the cultivated object, accurately input the constant temperature value that needs to be maintained. For example, if you want to cultivate a certain warm loving flower seed, it may be set at around 25 ℃, and the error range can generally be controlled within ± 1 ℃ to ensure that the seed can germinate and grow in a suitable temperature environment.
Then, the humidity is set. Different biological samples have different humidity requirements. Fungi such as mushrooms may require higher humidity, which can be set at 80% -90%, while some drought tolerant plant seedlings may have slightly lower humidity. After setting the appropriate relative humidity value, the incubator will automatically adjust and maintain it through internal humidification and dehumidification devices.
The setting of lighting time is also crucial. For most green plants, simulating the natural light cycle is important. Generally, setting a lighting time of 12-16 hours during the day can be achieved through the timing function or lighting control options of the incubator, allowing plants to carry out physiological activities such as photosynthesis normally.
3、 Precautions during use
During the operation of the incubator, it is necessary to regularly observe the internal conditions, check the growth status of the sample, and whether there is any abnormal accumulation of condensed water. At the same time, avoid frequently opening the box door, as each opening will cause significant fluctuations in temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions inside the box, affecting the stability of the cultivation environment. If it is necessary to take or view samples, the operation should be completed as quickly as possible and the door should be closed.
In addition, according to the maintenance requirements of the equipment, the filter screen, sensors and other components of the incubator should be regularly cleaned to ensure their normal performance, the accuracy of temperature, humidity and lighting parameters, and to prevent the accumulation of dust and other impurities from affecting the service life of the equipment.
In short, only by strictly following the above usage methods and precautions to operate the constant temperature and humidity light incubator can it fully play its role in various cultivation experiments and provide reliable environmental protection for biological research, agricultural production and other activities.
