Daily maintenance of dielectric constant experimental device
Date: 2025-11-24Read: 0
Dielectric constant experimental apparatusIt is the core equipment for testing the dielectric properties of materials, and its accuracy and stability directly affect the reliability of experimental data. Standardized daily maintenance can effectively extend the service life of equipment, reduce the occurrence of failures, and ensure the smooth conduct of experiments. The following are specific maintenance points:
1、 Cleaning of experimental equipment
Core component cleaning: The test electrode is a critical component, and after each use, it is necessary to wipe the surface of the electrode with anhydrous ethanol or specialized cleaning agents to remove sample residues, oil stains, or dust, and avoid pollutants affecting the conductivity and testing accuracy of the electrode; After cleaning, blow dry with dry nitrogen or air dry naturally. Do not scratch the electrode surface with hard objects.
Cleaning of instrument casing and panel: Use a clean soft cloth dipped in a small amount of neutral cleaning agent (such as soapy water) to wipe the casing and operation panel to remove dust and stains; Avoid using highly corrosive solvents (such as acetone, strong acid and alkali solutions) to prevent damage to the shell coating and panel buttons.
Cleaning of connection ports: Regularly check the signal input/output ports, power interfaces, etc., clean the dust or oxides inside the ports with a dry cotton swab, ensure good connection contact, and avoid abnormal signal transmission.
2、 Core component maintenance
Electrode maintenance: Regularly check whether the electrode is deformed, oxidized, or damaged. If there is an oxide layer on the surface of the electrode, it can be treated by slight polishing or special polishing agent (follow the instrument instructions for operation); Ensure that the electrode spacing adjustment mechanism is flexible, and apply a small amount of specialized lubricating oil if necessary to avoid oil contamination of the electrodes.
Maintenance of capacitive sensors: Keep the area around the sensor clean and dry, avoid moisture or corrosive substances; Regularly calibrate sensor sensitivity to ensure that capacitance measurement accuracy meets experimental requirements.
Circuit system maintenance: Avoid moisture and dust accumulation in circuit parts, regularly check circuit boards and wiring terminals for looseness and aging, tighten them in a timely manner if found loose, and contact the manufacturer for replacement of aging parts; Do not disassemble circuit modules on your own to prevent damage to electronic components.
3、 Equipment operation status check
Regular power on self-test: At least once a week, run the device's built-in calibration program and functional testing program to verify whether the device's various indicators (such as measurement accuracy and stability) are normal. If any abnormalities occur, promptly troubleshoot.
Power and connection line inspection: Check whether the power line is damaged or aged, and whether the plug is loose; Confirm that there are no broken or poor contacts in the signal and data cables, and replace aging cables if necessary.
Environmental adaptability inspection: The equipment should be used in a dry, ventilated, and non strong electromagnetic interference environment. The laboratory temperature and humidity should be regularly checked (recommended temperature of 18-25 ℃, humidity ≤ 60%) to avoid equipment failure caused by excessive temperature and humidity; Stay away from strong magnetic fields and high-frequency equipment to prevent interference with test signals.
4、 Long term idle maintenance
Cleaning and packaging: Before long-term use, thoroughly clean all components of the equipment, especially the electrodes and circuit parts, to ensure that there are no residual stains and moisture; Pack and store detachable components such as electrodes and connecting wires separately to avoid damage.
Storage environment: Place the equipment in a dry, ventilated, and sun free storage room to avoid damage to the equipment from damp, high or low temperature environments; Desiccant can be placed around the equipment to prevent moisture.
Regular power on: Power on and run once every 1-2 months for about 30 minutes each time to ensure that the internal electronic components of the device work normally and avoid long-term idle that may cause component aging and performance degradation.
5、 Maintenance precautions
Dedicated person in charge: Designate professional personnel to be responsible for daily maintenance work. Before maintenance, it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the equipment structure and maintenance specifications to avoid damage to the equipment due to misoperation.
Tools and consumables: Use specialized cleaning tools and consumables (such as anhydrous ethanol, soft cloth, specialized lubricating oil), and prohibit the use of substitute products that do not meet the requirements.
Recording and tracing: Establish maintenance logs to record in detail the maintenance date, maintenance content, equipment status, discovered problems, and handling results, facilitating subsequent tracing and troubleshooting.
Professional maintenance: If the equipment experiences complex malfunctions (such as circuit failures or damage to core components), it is not allowed to disassemble and repair it on its own. The manufacturer's after-sales service or professional maintenance personnel should be contacted in a timely manner for handling.
