PH-3V acidity potential measuring devicePrecautions for:
1. This test pen has been calibrated before leaving the factory and can be used directly. The following situations require recalibration:
A. Electrode usage is particularly frequent;
B. The measurement accuracy requirement is relatively high;
C. Used (or placed) for a long time after calibration;
2. Do not reuse calibration buffer when performing calibration;
3. When there are inorganic salt deposits on the sensitive bulb of the glass electrode, please immerse the electrode in 0.1MHCL solution, 0.1MnaOH solution, and then immerse them in 0.1MHCL solution for five minutes each to restore performance, and then rinse with distilled water;
4. Drop a few drops of preservation solution or calibration buffer into the pen holder. Do not soak or store the test pen in distilled water or pure water;
5. There may be small bubbles in the sensitive bulb of the test pen glass electrode, which will affect the normal measurement of the electrode. Shake the instrument to make the bubbles run out of the sensitive bulb;
6. The glass electrode is coated with a thin film of grease, which can affect the measurement results. It is necessary to rinse the sensitive bulb with a 75% alcohol solution, dry it with filter paper, rinse it with clean water, and then immerse it in distilled water for a few hours;
7. Protein precipitates (such as milk, cheese, etc.) should be immersed in a solution of gastric protease and hydrochloric acid for several hours for elimination treatment, then rinsed with clean water and immersed in distilled water for several hours;
8. If the glass electrode is exposed to air for a long time and the response slows down due to electrode drying, the electrode should be immersed in distilled water and activated for a few hours before use;
9. Glass electrodes are prone to breakage, so be careful when using them;
10. If the displayed value is blurry, or not displayed, or the displayed value is much higher or lower than the true pH value of the solution, the battery should be replaced;
11. Method to replace the battery: Gently pull out the black board with a switch on the pen, being careful not to break the wires. You can see three 1.5V batteries. Simply pull out and replace them;
12. Pay attention to battery polarity and choose batteries of the same model;
13. When inserting the electrode into the test solution or calibration buffer, it should not exceed the "immersion line" position of the test pen.
