Maintenance methods for programmable constant temperature and humidity testing machine
Date: 2025-10-23Read: 0
A programmable constant temperature and humidity testing machine is a device used to simulate testing objects under different environmental conditions. Regular maintenance is crucial to extend its lifespan and ensure its stable operation. Here are some common maintenance methods:
1. Daily cleaning
External cleaning: Regularly wipe the testing machine casing with a soft cloth to avoid the accumulation of dust and dirt. Avoid using strong acids, alkalis, or corrosive liquids during cleaning.
Internal cleaning: Clean the inside of the machine once a month, especially the fan, electrical components, and temperature and humidity sensors, to ensure that there is no dust accumulation. Dry compressed air can be used to remove dust.
2. Regularly inspect the electrical system
Power cord: Check whether the power cord is intact, whether there is aging, wear or damage.
Electrical connectors: Check if the electrical connectors and wiring terminals are loose, and if there are any oxidation, corrosion, or other issues. Regularly clean the contact points with specialized cleaning agents.
Control panel: Ensure the normal operation of the control panel and display screen, without any crashes or abnormal situations.
3. Maintenance of temperature and humidity sensors
Calibration: Temperature and humidity sensors require regular calibration, usually recommended once a year. Professional equipment can be used for calibration, or it can be sent to a professional institution for verification.
Cleaning: The sensor needs to be kept clean to avoid dust and dirt affecting measurement accuracy. Clean the sensor surface with a soft cloth or cotton swab.
4. Refrigeration system inspection
Check refrigerant: Check if the refrigerant in the refrigeration system is sufficient and if there are any leaks. If insufficient refrigerant is found, it should be replenished or repaired in a timely manner.
Clean the condenser: Regularly inspect and clean the condenser. Dust and debris on the condenser can be removed using airflow or a soft brush to avoid affecting heat exchange efficiency.
Check the compressor and fan: Regularly check the operation of the compressor and fan to ensure that there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
5. Humidity control system inspection
Check the humidifier: Ensure that there is no accumulation of scale inside the humidifier, clean the humidifier once a month and replace the water source.
Check the water tank: Regularly inspect the water tank and pipes to ensure there are no blockages, leaks, or contamination, and maintain clean water quality.
6. Check the heating system
Heating element inspection: Regularly check whether the heating element is damaged or aged. If there is dirt on the surface of the heating element, it can be cleaned with a soft cloth.
Heating tube cleaning: If the testing machine is in a high temperature state for a long time, the heating tube may accumulate dust or moisture. Regular cleaning can maintain its heating efficiency.
7. Maintain the refrigeration system
Regular defrosting: If there is frost during use, defrosting should be carried out in a timely manner to avoid affecting the cooling effect.
Check the condenser fan: Dust accumulation on the fan can affect cooling efficiency. Regularly clean the condenser fan to ensure smooth operation.
8. Check the airflow circulation system
Check the fan: Check if the fan is operating normally and if there are any abnormal noises or vibrations. If any abnormalities are found, check or replace them in a timely manner.
Check the airflow channel: Ensure that the airflow channel is unobstructed and avoid uneven temperature and humidity caused by channel blockage.
9. Maintain the laboratory environment
Maintain good ventilation: There should be sufficient space around the testing machine to ensure air circulation and avoid overheating or moisture accumulation.
Avoid direct sunlight: The testing machine should avoid direct sunlight to prevent unstable temperature and humidity control.
Maintain stable voltage: Use voltage stabilizing equipment to avoid the impact of voltage fluctuations on the testing machine.
10. Regularly check the performance of the instrument
Conduct functional testing once a month or quarter to check whether the temperature and humidity control accuracy meets the equipment requirements.
If significant control deviation is found, it is necessary to calibrate the temperature and humidity sensors and control system.
Through the above regular maintenance measures, the long-term stable operation of the programmable constant temperature and humidity testing machine can be ensured, improving its testing accuracy and extending its service life.
