ball millIt is a key equipment for achieving ultrafine grinding of materials, and its operational stability and grinding accuracy directly depend on daily maintenance. By doing the following four core points well, it can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and ensure the grinding effect:
Cleaning and maintenance of grinding components
After each grinding is completed, wait for the equipment to completely shut down and cool down before disassembling the grinding tank and grinding ball. According to the properties of the material, use anhydrous ethanol, deionized water, or specialized cleaning agents to clean the residual materials on the inner wall of the grinding tank, avoiding material agglomeration and adhesion that may affect the subsequent grinding uniformity; After cleaning, it should be thoroughly dried or dried to prevent rust or impurities from forming on the inner wall of the tank. Grinding balls need to be inspected regularly. If there is surface wear, cracking, or uneven size, they should be replaced with grinding balls of the same specification in a timely manner; Grinding balls of different materials (agate, zirconia, hard alloy, etc.) should be stored separately and mixed strictly to prevent cross contamination and increased wear and tear of the grinding balls.
Maintenance of transmission and lubrication system
The transmission system is the core of equipment operation, and it is necessary to check the lubrication status of transmission shafts, gears, and other components on a monthly basis, timely supplement equipment specific lubricating oil, ensure sufficient lubrication, and avoid component wear and abnormal noise caused by dry grinding. At the same time, dust and debris on the gears and transmission shafts should be cleaned to prevent impurities from jamming and affecting transmission accuracy; If damage is found on the gear tooth surface or loose transmission shaft, the machine should be stopped immediately for maintenance. The bearings of the drive motor need to be lubricated once every quarter to keep the motor heat dissipation port unobstructed and avoid dust blockage that may cause the motor to overheat and affect operational stability.
Inspection of sealing and shock-absorbing components
Sealing components can prevent material leakage and dust intrusion. It is necessary to regularly check the integrity of the sealing ring of the grinding tank and the sealing strip of the equipment chassis. If there is aging, damage, or deformation, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid material leakage polluting the environment or dust entering the equipment and damaging components. The shock-absorbing components of the equipment (shock-absorbing pads, shock-absorbing springs) need to be inspected once a month. If there is a decrease in shock-absorbing effect, looseness, or deformation, they need to be adjusted or replaced in a timely manner. Otherwise, the significant vibration during equipment operation will reduce the grinding accuracy and may also damage the body structure and internal circuits.
Electrical and whole machine inspection and maintenance
The electrical system needs to regularly clean the dust inside the control box, check whether the circuit joints are loose or aging, and prevent faults caused by short circuits or poor contact; Monthly testing of safety devices such as overload protection and emergency stop buttons to ensure their proper triggering and ensure operational safety. It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the entire machine every six months to check the fastening of key parts such as cavity fixing bolts and motor brackets, calibrate equipment speed, and ensure accurate operating parameters; If the equipment experiences abnormal speed fluctuations, increased abnormal noise, etc., it is necessary to stop the machine in a timely manner for troubleshooting to avoid small faults from escalating into serious ones.
