Industrial pH controller is a key equipment for precise control of solution acidity and alkalinity in industrial production, widely used in fields such as sewage treatment, chemical production, and food processing.Correctly setting up industrial pH controllers is crucial for ensuring the stability of the production process and product quality.

1、 Preparation work before setting up
Before setting up an industrial pH controller, it is necessary to ensure that the equipment is correctly installed and well connected to the power supply, electrodes, etc. Check if the electrode is in normal working condition and activate it by soaking it in a suitable electrolyte. At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the pH range and process requirements that need to be controlled.
IIIndustrial PH controllerBasic setup steps
1. Power on and mode selection: Connect the power and press the power switch to turn on the controller. Select the desired measurement mode through the function keys, such as PH measurement or ORP measurement mode, and connect the corresponding electrodes according to actual needs.
2. Calibration operation: Calibration is the key to ensuring measurement accuracy. The common calibration method is to use standard buffer solution. Generally, the standard solution with pH7.00 is used for zero calibration first, and the electrode is immersed in the standard solution. After the value is stable, adjust the calibration knob to make the displayed value consistent with the standard solution value. Use a standard solution with pH 4.00 (or pH 10.00) for slope calibration, and wait for the values to stabilize before adjusting.
3. PH value range setting: Set the required pH value control range according to the production process requirements. Set the high and low pH values through the corresponding knobs or buttons. For example, in sewage treatment, to control the pH value between 6-9, the high value can be set to 9.00 and the low value can be set to 6.00.
4. Hysteresis setting: To avoid frequent relay actions, hysteresis can be set. The hysteresis refers to the range of difference between the high and low control values within which the relay continues to operate. For example, setting the hysteresis to 0.2, the relay will activate when the pH value reaches a high value of 9.00, and will only stop operating when the pH value drops to 8.80 (9.00-0.2).
5. Control output settings: Set control output parameters based on the connected actuators, such as acid pumps, alkali pumps, etc., to ensure that the controller can accurately control the actuators and adjust the pH value of the solution.
3、 Inspection and maintenance after setting up
After setting up, a comprehensive inspection of the controller should be conducted to ensure that all settings meet the requirements. Regularly maintain and calibrate the electrodes to ensure measurement accuracy and control precision. At the same time, observe the operating status of the controller and promptly address any possible faults. Through scientific and reasonable settings and maintenance, industrial pH controllers can stably and accurately control the acidity and alkalinity of solutions, providing strong support for industrial production.
