Low temperature liquid oxygen sampler is a device used to collect low-temperature liquid oxygen samples
Date: 2025-09-03Read: 0
The low-temperature liquid oxygen sampler is mainly used to collect samples of cryogenic liquids (such as liquid oxygen), which are vaporized to generate gas for subsequent analysis.
The main body of a liquid oxygen sampler is usually made of low-temperature resistant alloy or high-strength stainless steel, equipped with a vacuum insulation layer to prevent rapid evaporation of liquid oxygen during the sampling process. During sampling, the speed of liquid oxygen flowing into the sampling bottle is controlled through a dedicated valve, and some models also integrate temperature sensors and pressure monitoring devices to monitor the sampling environment in real time. For some situations that require detection after vaporization, liquid oxygen will be placed in a vaporization chamber to vaporize in a sealed environment, and then gaseous oxygen will be obtained for detection.
Its core functions include:
core functionality
Sealed sampling: Complete liquid oxygen sampling in a closed environment to ensure that the original appearance of the sample is not affected by external interference. ‌
Rapid vaporization: Immediately vaporize the liquid into gas after sampling, facilitating transportation and subsequent analysis. ‌
Safety protection: Equipped with a sealed sample cup, it can withstand low temperatures of -198 ℃ and pressures of 20MPa, ensuring safe operation.
Instructions for use
First, wear personal protective equipment such as antifreeze gloves, goggles, etc., and check whether the sampler and its accessories are intact.
Select the appropriate sampling container capacity based on actual needs and connect it to the sampling interface.
Open the valve on the liquid oxygen storage tank to allow a small amount of liquid oxygen to flow out for pipeline cleaning, then close the outlet valve and slowly open the inlet valve to allow liquid oxygen to slowly flow into the sampling bottle until the predetermined amount is reached.
After completing the sampling, immediately close all valves and seal the sampling bottle properly. For samples that require special storage conditions, they should be transported to the laboratory in specialized refrigeration facilities according to regulations.
