In the complex system of industrial production, precise measurement and effective control of pressure are crucial. As a key equipment, the live contact pressure gauge acts as a loyal guardian, safeguarding industrial safety and automation operations.
The live contact pressure gauge consists of a measurement system, an indication system, a contact device, a housing, an adjustment device, and a junction box. It is an electrical device installed on the basis of a regular pressure gauge. When the equipment reaches the set pressure, the two contacts will change their working state and output a switch signal. Its working principle is based on the spring tube in the measurement system. Under the pressure of the measured medium, the end of the spring tube undergoes elastic deformation displacement, which is amplified by the gear transmission mechanism through the pull rod. The measured value is indicated on the dial by the indicator pin on the fixed gear. At the same time, when the indicator pin comes into contact with the contact (upper or lower limit) on the set pointer, the circuit in the control system can be disconnected or connected, thereby achieving the purpose of automatic control and sending alarm signals.
Live contact pressure gauges have many significant advantages. Adjustable magnetic steel is installed on the electrical contact signal pin, which can increase the suction force of the contact, accelerate the contact action, make the contact reliable, eliminate the arc, and effectively avoid frequent disconnection of the contact caused by working environment vibration or medium pressure pulsation. This makes it reliable in action, has a long service life, and has a high contact switch power.
Its application fields are very extensive. In industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and power stations, it is used to measure the pressure of various fluid media without explosion hazards, and when the pressure reaches a predetermined value, it sends a signal, connects the control circuit, and achieves automatic control and alarm. For example, in chemical production, real-time monitoring of the pressure inside the reaction vessel is carried out. When the pressure exceeds or falls below the set value, an alarm is promptly issued and corresponding measures are taken to prevent accidents from occurring. In the matching of electromechanical equipment, it also plays an important role in ensuring the normal operation of the equipment.
When using a live contact pressure gauge, wiring is a crucial step. It usually has three wires, one of which is common and the pointer is adjustable. One gauge pin can be adjusted to the appropriate low voltage value and connected to the low voltage start control relay; Adjust the other pointer to the appropriate high voltage value, connect the high voltage stop relay, and the common line is the common line for high and low voltage control. When the actual pressure is above the upper limit, connect to the upper limit and disconnect from the lower limit; When the actual pressure is below the lower limit, the common terminal is connected to the lower limit and disconnected from the upper limit.
However, to ensure the accurate and reliable operation of the live contact pressure gauge, regular calibration is also required. According to relevant regulations, pressure gauges are generally calibrated at least once every six months to ensure that their measurement accuracy and performance meet the requirements.
With the continuous improvement of industrial automation, live contact pressure gauges are also constantly developing and improving. In the future, it will develop towards a more intelligent and high-precision direction, better meeting the needs of industrial production for pressure measurement and control, and continuing to play an important role in the field of industrial safety and automation.
