Maintenance and upkeep of mold constant temperature and humidity chamber
Date: 2025-11-21Read: 0
Mold constant temperature and humidity chamber is a precision experimental equipment that can accurately control environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation. It is designed specifically for the cultivation of microorganisms such as molds and is widely used in various fields such as scientific research, production, and quality inspection.

The mold constant temperature and humidity chamber provides a suitable growth environment for mold through dual control of temperature and humidity. Its core principle is to collect data through sensors and adjust heating, cooling, humidification or dehumidification systems after being processed by the controller to maintain the set temperature and humidity conditions.

maintenance
Daily cleaning: Regularly clean the inside and outside of the incubator to keep the equipment clean and tidy. Use a soft cloth or sponge dipped in a small amount of neutral detergent or clean water to wipe the outside of the equipment, avoiding the use of corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis. When the equipment stops working and the sink is dry, use a soft cloth to remove internal dust and debris.
Humidifier maintenance: The water stored in the humidifier should be replaced once a month to ensure clean water quality. The humidification water tray should be cleaned once a month to prevent the accumulation of scale and ensure smooth water flow.
Wet bulb test cloth replacement: Regularly check the wet bulb test cloth. If its surface is not clean or hardened, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner. The test cloth is usually replaced once every three months. When replacing, the temperature measuring body should be wiped with a clean cloth. When replacing the new test cloth, it should be cleaned first.
Condenser cleaning: Regularly check the dust on the condenser and clean the heat dissipation mesh with a vacuum cleaner or high-pressure air every month to avoid dust affecting the heat dissipation effect.
Power cord inspection: Regularly check whether the connection parts of the power cord, plug, etc. are firm, and whether there is any damage or aging phenomenon. Ensure the electrical safety of the equipment.
Calibration of temperature and humidity sensors: Regularly calibrate temperature and humidity sensors to ensure the accuracy of measurement data. It is recommended to conduct professional calibration every six months or according to the frequency of use.
Sealing performance inspection: Regularly check the sealing strip of the box door to ensure that it is intact and tightly sealed, preventing temperature and humidity leakage.
Long term shutdown treatment: If the equipment is not used for a long time, the water in the sink should be drained, the interior should be cleaned, covered with a dust cover, and placed in a dry and ventilated environment. It is recommended to power on at least once a month for at least 1 hour to prevent equipment from getting damp or electrical components from aging.
