This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial triethylamine.
This document is applicable to the industrial triethylamine produced by catalytic amination of ethanol as raw material in the presence of hydrogen gas.

Determination of moisture content

prepare
Adjust the instrument to its working state. According to the requirements of electrolyte titration, an appropriate amount of benzoic acid or salicylic acid can be added in advance to adjust the pH of the electrolyte to 5-7. Pre titration should be performed after adding benzoic acid or salicylic acid to eliminate reagent blank.
determination
Use a microsyringe to transfer 50 μ L~100 μ L of the sample, immediately block the needle with a silicone rubber pad, weigh (accurate to 0.0001g), and follow the provisions of GB/T 6324.8.

Adjust the instrument to its working state. Transfer 1.5mL~3mL of sample with a syringe, immediately block the needle with a silicone rubber pad, weigh (accurate to 0.0001g), and perform the direct electric method according to GB/T 6283.

tolerance
Take the arithmetic mean of two parallel measurement results as the measurement result. The difference between the results of two parallel measurements shall not exceed 20% of their arithmetic mean.
