Quick Thermal Conductivity Tester QTM-710/QTM-700
Thermal conductivity: The amount of heat transferred per unit area of a material along the direction of heat flux at a unit temperature gradient per unit time. The unit is watts per meter Kelvin [W/(m · K)].
Local heating is carried out using a linear electrical conductor (hot wire) buried in the length direction of the sample, with the hot wire carrying a known constant power current, that is, the power remains constant in time and the length direction of the sample. The thermal conductivity can be calculated based on the power of the hot wire and the temperature at two known time intervals after heating. The temperature rise as a function of time is the thermal conductivity of the tested sample.
Measure the thermal conductivity of various samples, such as block or sheet samples, by placing the probe on a uniformly heated sample surface. It is applicable to various industrial materials, thermal insulation materials, building materials, refractory materials, process materials, fibers, plastic plates, foam, particles, powders, films, glass, rocks, wood, sheets, leather, bread dough, mashed food, high thermal insulation materials, ceramics, etc.
The main features of the rapid thermal conductivity tester QTM-710/QTM-700 are:
1. Adopting a 5.7-inch color touch screen, the display is intuitive and the operation is convenient.
2. Sensors that can connect three channels simultaneously make sample testing faster.
3. The security level and password protection settings effectively prevent accidental operations.
4. The measurement data can be transmitted through a USB flash drive and automatically converted to CSV format.
5. Standard reference plate for thermal conductivity is provided as standard to ensure the reliability of measurement values.
6. Short measurement time (60 seconds) and wide measurement range (0.03~12W/mK).
7. Automatically set heating current, real-time temperature rise curve, and can be measured repeatedly.
8. QTM-710 has the function of measuring thin film samples and comes standard with three sets of reference plates.
