The carbon dioxide gas detector can adapt to various application scenarios
Date: 2025-08-25Read: 0
The carbon dioxide gas detector can adapt to various application scenarios. In terms of indoor environment, different types of carbon dioxide detectors can be used to monitor air quality in places such as homes, offices, shopping malls, and hospitals. For outdoor environments, such as atmospheric monitoring and atmospheric monitoring outside agricultural greenhouses, there are also corresponding detectors that can perform long-term and stable monitoring. In the industrial field, from chemical production, food processing to electronic manufacturing, there are industries that are suitable for their respective process characteristics and environmental requirements. For example, in chemical production, some detectors can withstand harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive gases; In the food processing industry, there are detectors that meet food safety standards and can be directly used for monitoring the food processing environment.
Advantages of carbon dioxide gas detector:
(1) High precision detection
1. Detailed explanation
-Both carbon dioxide gas detectors based on infrared absorption principle and electrochemical principle can achieve high-precision detection. For infrared absorption type detectors, based on strict physical laws (Lambert Beer law), as long as the optical system of the instrument is designed reasonably and calibrated accurately, it can measure the concentration of carbon dioxide very accurately. Generally speaking, its measurement accuracy can reach ± (50-100) ppm (parts per million) or even higher.
-Electrochemical detectors also have high accuracy. Through electrode materials and circuit design, they can accurately sense small changes in carbon dioxide concentration and convert them into measurable electrical signals. In some situations where high requirements are placed on carbon dioxide concentration control, such as laboratory precision experiments, semiconductor manufacturing workshops, etc., this high-precision detection capability can meet strict environmental control requirements.
2. Case support
-For example, in the clean room of electronic chip manufacturing, there is a high demand for controlling the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air. Even small fluctuations in carbon dioxide concentration can affect chemical reactions and particulate pollution during the chip manufacturing process. By adopting high-precision technology, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the workshop can be monitored in real time, and it can be stably controlled within a small range, such as ± 50ppm, to ensure the high quality and high yield of chip manufacturing.
(2) Quick response
1. Detailed explanation
-The carbon dioxide gas detector has the characteristic of fast response. For infrared absorption detectors, due to the fast propagation speed of light, when the concentration of carbon dioxide in the gas being tested changes, the change in infrared light intensity can be detected almost instantly by the sensor. After rapid data processing and analysis, the new carbon dioxide concentration value can be displayed within seconds.
-The response speed of electrochemical detectors is also fast, usually between a few seconds and a dozen seconds. This is because the electrochemical reaction between carbon dioxide and electrolyte solution is a relatively rapid process. Once the gas concentration changes, the current signal will rapidly change, and the instrument can capture and process this signal in a timely manner, thereby achieving a rapid response.
2. Case support
-In the industrial production process, such as the fermentation stage of beer brewing, it is necessary to monitor the concentration of carbon dioxide in the fermentation tank in real time. If there is an abnormal change in carbon dioxide concentration, it may indicate a problem in the fermentation process. Concentration changes can be detected in a short period of time, and operators can take corresponding measures in a timely manner, such as adjusting parameters such as temperature and pressure.
