Huaneng Tongchuan Power Plant is located in Potou Town, Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, about 6km southwest of Tongchuan New Area and 70km away from Xi'an City. It is fully constructed by Huaneng International Power Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaneng Group, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts in the first phase of the project.
