Jiangsu Huaneng Huaiyin Power Generation Co., Ltd. is a national large-scale enterprise controlled by China Huaneng Group Corporation. It is a backbone power plant of Huaneng System and East China Power Grid, with a planned installed capacity of 1.3 million kW. The first phase of the project has two 200000 kW domestically produced coal-fired units with a total investment of 1.15 billion yuan, which were put into operation in November 1993 and August 1994 respectively.
