Operation standard for voltage and current withstand bending testing machine
Date: 2025-01-03Read: 2
The voltage and current withstand bending tester is mainly used to test the performance of cables, wires, electrical components, etc. under certain voltage, current, and bending conditions, in order to evaluate their durability and safety in practical use. It combines electrical performance testing and mechanical bending testing, and is widely used in the electrical industry, communication industry, and quality control of related products. The following are the operating standards and precautions for the voltage and current bending tester.
1、 Operational standards
1. Preparation before the experiment
Equipment inspection:
Check if the power system and control system of the electrical equipment are working properly.
Confirm that the electrical components (such as power supply, relays, switches) and mechanical components (such as bending devices, transmission systems) of the testing machine are not damaged or loose.
Check the voltage and current setting range of the testing machine to ensure that it matches the specifications of the tested object.
Check whether the contact of connecting cables, wires, testing fixtures and other accessories is good, to ensure that there will be no errors or faults caused by poor contact during the testing process.
Preparation of test materials:
Prepare the test samples (such as cables, wires, electronic components, etc.) according to the testing requirements, ensuring that the specifications, models, and quantities of the samples meet the testing requirements.
Clean the test samples appropriately to avoid contamination or damage during the testing process.
Experimental environment confirmation:
Ensure that the surrounding environment of the testing machine meets the experimental requirements, especially the good insulation performance of electrical equipment, to avoid abnormal test data caused by external environmental factors.
Ensure good ventilation around the equipment, avoid overheating, and ensure stable operation of the equipment.
2. Set experimental parameters
Set voltage and current:
According to the testing requirements, set the operating range of voltage and current. Ensure that the set voltage and current are within the rated range of the equipment and sample, and will not cause damage to the equipment or sample.
During the general testing process, the voltage and current should gradually increase to avoid sudden electrical shocks.
Set the bending angle and number of bends:
Set the bending angle and number of bends according to standards or requirements. The bending angle can usually be achieved by adjusting the robotic arm or drive system.
For certain experiments, it may also be necessary to set the frequency of bending, which is the number of bends per unit time.
Set testing time:
According to different testing standards, set the testing time of the sample under the action of voltage and current. Some standards require long-term continuous testing, while others may require specific instantaneous impacts.
3. Start the experiment
Check the power supply and control system:
Before starting the test, confirm that the power connection is normal and ensure that all parameters displayed on the control system and screen of the testing machine (such as voltage, current, bending times, angle) are correct.
For equipment that requires bending adjustment, ensure that the adjustment mechanism is in the appropriate position and all control systems are working properly.
Monitoring and testing process:
During the testing process, constantly monitor the various parameters of the testing machine to ensure that voltage, current, bending angle, and frequency are controlled within a safe range.
Observe whether there are any abnormalities in the test sample, such as overheating, excessive bending, or damage to the outer skin.
During the testing process, ensure that the equipment does not overload and avoid electrical faults.
Record data:
Record voltage, current, bending times, and other related test data for later analysis and report writing.
4. End of experiment
Stop voltage and current supply:
After completing the test, immediately cut off the power supply and stop the voltage and current supply. Ensure that the equipment is no longer powered on to prevent electrical accidents from occurring.
Stop bending test:
After the electrical testing is completed, stop the bending motion, ensure that the mechanical device returns to its initial position, and cut off the connection with the test sample.
Check the sample:
Take out the sample and inspect its appearance for any damage, deformation, or other abnormal phenomena. If necessary, record these abnormal situations and conduct further analysis.
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment:
After the experiment is completed, clean and maintain the equipment to remove dust and residue from it. Especially for the bending device and electrical contact parts, ensure smooth testing during the next use.
2、 Precautions
1. Safety protection
Electrical safety:
Operators should ensure that their bodies are insulated when coming into contact with electrical components to avoid electric shock accidents.
Operators need to wear appropriate protective equipment, such as anti-static gloves, insulated shoes, etc., to avoid electrical equipment leakage current injuries.
Mechanical safety:
When adjusting the bending system, ensure that the mechanical device is in a stopped state to avoid accidents.
Ensure smooth operation of the equipment, especially under high bending times, to avoid equipment failure due to excessive load.
2. Equipment maintenance
Regular inspection:
Regularly inspect the electrical components (such as power supply, relays, cables) and mechanical components (such as bending devices, transmission devices, etc.) of the equipment to ensure that it is always in good working condition.
Replace consumables:
For frequently used components such as wiring terminals, cables, and electrodes, regular inspections and replacements should be carried out to avoid affecting the test results.
3. Data recording and analysis
Data recording:
Record all relevant data during the experiment, including voltage, current, temperature, bending times, etc., for subsequent analysis and report writing.
Regularly organize experimental data and compare the performance of different batches of samples to ensure product quality and safety.
Analysis and Report:
Based on the test results, analyze the performance of the sample under specific voltage, current, and bending conditions to determine whether it meets relevant standards.
Write an experimental report and provide necessary improvement suggestions based on the results.
summary
When conducting electrical and mechanical performance tests, the withstand voltage and current bending tester must strictly follow the operating standards to ensure that the equipment operates in a safe and compliant state. Reasonable setting of experimental parameters, monitoring of the testing process, timely recording of data, and maintenance of equipment are key to ensuring testing accuracy and long-term stable operation of the equipment.
