1、 Operation process specification
Instrument preheating
Start the instrument in advance and preheat it to a stable state (usually taking more than 30 minutes) to ensure the normal operation of the temperature control system.
Distillation parameter settings
Select the appropriate distillation process (heating rate, condensation temperature, etc.) based on the type of oil (such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene).
Ensure that the condensation system (such as condenser tubes, cooling water) is working properly to avoid loss of distillate.
Distillate collection
Use clean and dry measuring cylinders to receive distillate and avoid cross contamination.
Record the initial boiling point, final boiling point, and distillation volume of each temperature range, with data accurate to 0.1mL or 0.1 ℃.
safety protection
Wear protective gloves and goggles during operation to avoid high temperature burns or oil splashing.
During the distillation process, it is forbidden to leave the post and closely observe the operation status of the instrument.
2、 Post operation maintenance
Instrument cleaning
After distillation, clean the distillation flask, condenser tube and other components in a timely manner to prevent residual oil from solidifying and blocking.
Use specialized cleaning agents (such as petroleum ether) to wipe the surface of the instrument to avoid corrosion.
Data recording and processing
The raw data needs to be double checked by two people to ensure accuracy before being entered into the system.
Abnormal data (such as poor repeatability and deviation from standard values) need to be retested and the reasons analyzed.
regular maintenance
Check heating elements, sealing rings, and other vulnerable parts quarterly, and replace them if necessary.
Every year, professional personnel conduct comprehensive maintenance on the instruments to ensure that their performance meets the standards.
