Guidewire Friction TesterMethod for testing the friction performance of loach and zebra guide wires

Install the guide wire clip into the clamping slot of the clamping system. Adjust the spacing between the two sliding clamps to the specified clamp spacing, then tighten the clamps to ensure that the guide wire clamps are in good fit. Thread one end of the test guide wire from bottom to top through the two catheter clamps, and clamp the head end of the catheter with the upper fixture of the tester. Insert the remaining part of the catheter into a constant temperature water bath filled with water, allowing it to hang naturally and soak for the recommended time. Adjust the position of the two sliding clamps in the groove so that the conduit is located in the center. Start the testing device to allow the guide wire to pass through the silicone film for a sufficient distance, and record the curve of force relative to displacement. Report the average force value and average friction coefficient of the wet section of the catheter body on the curve.
