Simulate actual stress

Hang the test plate with the sample attached vertically on the test stand, and hang a weight of the specified weight (usually 1000g ± 10g, including the weight of the loading plate) at the lower end. Measure the following indicators to characterize the adhesive tape's ability to resist pulling off:

Displacement method: Record the slip distance of the sample within a certain period of time (such as displacement within 24 hours).

Departure time method: Record the time required for the sample to detach from the test plate.

Key performance indicators

Holding viscosity index: a quantitative indicator calculated by integrating displacement and detachment time, reflecting the long-term adhesion ability of adhesive tape under constant load.

Residual adhesion rate: The ratio of the residual adhesion force of the adhesive tape after testing to the initial value, evaluating the degree of adhesive attenuation.

GB/T 4851-2014: specifies the requirements for testing equipment, preparation of test specimens, testing procedures, and methods for determining results, equivalent to the Japanese JIS Z 0237:1991 standard.

ISO standards: Some equipment refers to international standards such as ISO 29862 to ensure the universality of test results.

Test Process

Sample preparation: Cut a sample with a width of 25mm and a length of about 100mm, remove the edge effect, and paste it in the middle of the test plate.

Rolling treatment: Use a pressure roller to roll back and forth on the surface of the sample at a speed of 300mm/min for 3 times to ensure uniform adhesion.

Environmental control: The testing environment temperature is 23 ℃± 2 ℃, the relative humidity is 65% ± 5%, and the sample should be parked for 20 minutes before testing.

Data recording: Automatically record displacement or detachment time, calculate viscosity index and residual rate.
