This video is an operation video for testing the gas permeability of cling film materials using VAC-V2 differential pressure gas permeameter. It is intended to provide guidance and instructions for customers. Jinan Languang VAC-V2 differential pressure gas permeability tester is a professional gas permeability tester for thin film samples based on the testing principle of differential pressure method. It is suitable for measuring the gas permeability, solubility coefficient, diffusion coefficient, and permeability coefficient of plastic films, composite films, high barrier materials, sheets, and metal foils at various temperatures.

1. Due to the very soft and thin nature of cling film, it was placed flat between two A4 sheets of paper and a circular sample with a diameter of 97mm was cut using a circular sampler.

2. Open the testing chamber of VAC-V2 gas permeameter, wipe it clean with a cotton ball, and evenly apply a thin layer of vacuum grease on the edges of the upper and lower testing chambers.

3. Place filter paper with almost the same permeation area on the low-pressure chamber (lower chamber) of the instrument, and mount the sample on the lower chamber to ensure that the sample is flat and wrinkle free.

4. Close the instrument testing chamber and tighten the manual valve.

5. Set the water bath temperature to the testing temperature.

6. Operate software on the computer to set sample parameters and experimental parameters.

7. Turn on the vacuum pump and start testing.

8. The experimental process is automated, and the infiltration process and balance can be directly observed in the software interface. After completion, the system will issue test results.
