How to choose 10KV tubular busbar trunking
Date: 2025-12-04Read: 37

10KVTube type bus ductIt is a transmission equipment with a simple structure and easy use, mainly composed of conductors and insulation layers. The conductors are made of metal materials such as copper and aluminum, and the insulation layer is made of polymer materials. Tube type busbars are widely used in power systems due to their high current carrying capacity, corrosion resistance, and long service life. According to different structural forms, tubular busbars can be divided into various forms such as circular tube, elliptical tube, and square tube.

Selection method of tubular busbar:

1. Determine the transmission capacity and voltage level

In power system design, transmission capacity and voltage level are important parameters for determining the selection of tubular busbars. According to the demand for power load and power system planning, the transmission capacity and voltage level of the tubular busbar can be determined. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the growth of future power loads and reserve some space for the future upgrade of tubular busbars.

2. Choose the appropriate conductor material

Conductor material is an important component of tubular busbars, and its conductivity and mechanical properties have a significant impact on the performance and service life of tubular busbars. The commonly used conductor materials currently include copper, aluminum, etc. Suitable conductor materials can be selected according to actual needs.

3. Determine the material and thickness of the insulation layer

The insulation layer is an important component of tubular busbars, and the type and thickness of its material have a significant impact on the electrical performance and service life of tubular busbars. Suitable insulation layer materials and thicknesses need to be selected according to actual needs, taking into account the requirements of insulation layer's heat resistance and mechanical properties

4. Determine the structural form of the tubular busbar

According to actual needs, suitable forms of tubular busbar structures can be selected, including circular tube, elliptical tube, and square tube. Different structural forms of tubular busbars have different characteristics and usage ranges, and need to be selected according to actual situations.

5. Consider the convenience of installation and maintenance

When selecting a tubular busbar, consideration should be given to its ease of installation and maintenance. You can choose a tubular busbar that is easy to install and maintain to reduce its lifecycle cost.

10KVTube type bus ductThe two suspension methods have basically the same requirements for the load of the busbar frame and the height of the busbar. The inclined suspended tubular busbar can be chosen with a smaller cross-sectional area to save materials and lower deflection, but the number of insulator strings is relatively large, which increases the maintenance workload accordingly; The vertical suspension type is exactly the opposite. Aluminum tubes have a large cross-sectional area, high aluminum consumption, large deflection, and smaller insulator strings. Due to the inverse proportionality between the stiffness and length of tubular busbars, long tubular busbars are prone to bending deformation during construction, making it difficult to construct. Thermal expansion and contraction can also cause bending deformation of aluminum tubes. Therefore, according to the electrical wiring situation of the project, a layout of two consecutive spans and a span of 13m is more suitable for the 220kV busbar. Through technical and economic comparative analysis, it is found that the area occupied by medium-sized tube type busbars and double busbar distribution devices with bypass wiring is equivalent to that of high-rise distribution devices. The busbar structure is greatly simplified compared to the latter, and the operation and maintenance are inconvenient due to the overlapping arrangement of busbars and equipment without elevated layout.
