Brief Introduction

Fire resistant busbars are widely used in ships, municipal, chemical, bridge, petroleum, shipbuilding, tunnels, outdoor and other places. It has advantages such as waterproof, fireproof, explosion-proof, and anti-corrosion. However, fire-resistant busbars can also encounter problems after use, so we need to protect them before any issues arise. How to protect fire-resistant busbars, let's take a look.

When installing fire-resistant busbars, the following protective measures should be added:

When the fire-resistant busbar passes through the floor, the accumulated water on the floor caused by production or roof leakage will leak downwards along the fire-resistant busbar passing through the floor, causing water to enter the fire-resistant busbar and reduce its insulation. Therefore, fire-resistant busbars need to be laid at an altitude of over 2000 meters;

2. Different climate environment parameters should be selected for different climate environment levels, and the selection should be based on conditions such as temperature, humidity, and fire prevention;

3. Confirm if there is any explosive gas around. If that's the case, stay away from it and install fire-resistant busbars.

Fire resistant busbar refers to a busbar trunking that is tightly stacked between phases and between phases and shells, and uses very thin insulation materials to achieve insulation between each other. This fire-resistant busbar structure has the characteristics of light weight, beautiful appearance, simple structure, and easy installation.

Technical Features

1. It can heat the air to a very high temperature, up to 850 ℃, while the shell temperature is only around 50 ℃.

2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or above.

3. Air type busbar trunking has clean air and small volume.

4. Multiple types of air electric heaters can be designed according to user needs.

5. Air type bus ducts are durable and have a service life of several decades, provided that they do not violate usage regulations.

6. The heating and cooling rate block can reach 10 ℃/S, with fast and stable adjustment. It will not cause temperature control drift due to the phenomenon of controlled air temperature leading or lagging, making it very suitable for automatic control.

7. Good mechanical performance: Because the heating element of the air type bus duct is made of specially made alloy material, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any heating element under the impact of high-pressure air flow. This is suitable for systems and accessory tests that require long-term continuous heating of the air

In the selection of busbars, there should be the fire resistance time and standards of refractory materials, and of course, the choice of relative durability is good.

Having the same "sandwich" phase line tightly stacked structure design as the "CMC series", the bus duct has a compact appearance and small volume. The bus system has the advantages of low impedance, voltage reduction, and good dynamic and thermal stability, without the possibility of "chimney effect" formation in case of fire.

The dense fire-resistant bus duct mainly depends on its density, and the more compact the better. The IP protection level of busbar trunking and busbar trunking connectors: The protection level refers to the process technology, and the connectors are the parts with high accident rates in busbar engineering. The connectors are prone to short-circuit accidents caused by heating, moisture, or water ingress, especially the IP protection level of the connectors. Because GB7251.2-2006 is a direct translation of the standard IEC60439.2-2000, the protection level test in this standard does not mention that the joint between busbars should undergo a protection level test. The 3C certification currently being implemented in China has formulated implementation rules based on this standard, so it depends on the sealing condition of the joint between the sample busbars. Review of fire resistance test report: mainly reviewing the fire resistance performance of the fire-resistant bus duct. Because fire-resistant bus ducts not only have various technical parameters and tests of ordinary bus ducts, but also require the integrity of the power supply line to be maintained when the bus duct catches fire. It is necessary to maintain the normal power supply of main lines such as fire equipment, emergency lighting, backup lighting, and generator power supply. Therefore, the overall grounding technology using the shell as the PE row is effective in anti-corrosion performance. The aluminum profile shell has much better anti-corrosion performance after anodizing for 10u and galvanizing Long term atmospheric exposure tests have shown that the corrosion depth of the former is approximately one twentieth of that of the latter. A reliable insulation method is that there is an insulation layer on the conductive busbar, and there is a certain air gap between the phases. There is also an insulation pad made of DMC material pressed between the conductive busbar and the shell, with triple insulation to ensure the insulation of the bus duct, especially when used in humid environments. The length of large-span design linear bus ducts is not limited by transportation capacity, and their design and production capacity are not limited by length, which can meet the needs of engineering, especially modern factories, for large-span bus ducts. Due to its good rigidity, there is no need to install hangers between 6m spans. Easy to install due to consistent overall dimensions and symmetrical internal structure. It can be arranged on either side, making it easy to invert and easy to install.

The shell is composed of a mixture of cold drawn thin steel profiles. The two side panels are our company's double-layer hollow structure. Effectively preventing high-temperature gases or open flames from directly entering the interior of the busbar through a sealed hollow structure. The surface of the busbar shell is galvanized and sprayed with fireproof coating (when exposed to fire, the coating can quickly expand at a geometric speed on the surface of the busbar to form a dense carbonized insulation layer. Seal all gaps in the busbar shell to prevent high temperatures from directly entering the interior of the busbar).

When installing the busbar horizontally, the fire-resistant busbar trunking of commercial housing can be installed and laid by lifting or supporting the busbar trunking with nails along the wall, and the distance between the busbar trunking and the side wall surface should be ensured, so that the plug can be smoothly inserted into the busbar trunking. The protection level of the shell reaches IP68, and it can be immersed in water for a long time, and can resist the fierce spray of fire on it;
Adopt overall vacuum casting to ensure that there are no gaps in the bus duct;
Using insulation materials, toxic gases will not be emitted even in flames, ensuring the safety of personnel;
Using special thermal conductive materials, it has good heat dissipation function in normal working environment.

This product has electrical performance equivalent to other types of bus ducts under normal conditions, referring to the technical parameters and current levels of FH fireproof bus ducts. The installation structure is the same as other bus ducts, please refer to the selection.

How to use fire-resistant busbars and fire-resistant cables reasonably? Due to the fact that fire-resistant cables or fire-resistant busbars are not only used as emergency power lines in case of power grid or line problems, but also as transmission lines and bus ducts in case of fires or other disasters, fire-resistant busbars must be able to ensure normal power transmission at high temperatures. When the ambient temperature reaches 700 ℃ or above, fire-resistant bus ducts can also ensure power supply operation for more than 1.5 hours without causing internal insulation reduction and short circuit between lines due to the increase in ambient temperature. When the transmission current of the line is not very high and the space for laying cables is limited, enclosed bus ducts with many bends are more suitable for using fire-resistant cables. However, when the transmission current of the line is relatively high, multiple fire-resistant cables are required, which is inconvenient for construction and future operation and maintenance. When the capacity of the transmission line is large, corrugated bus ducts are generally used. Currently, the capacitance of the transmission line is relatively large.
