As the core carrier of industrial and building power distribution systems, the standardized use of high and low voltage tubular busbars directly affects the reliability of power supply and system safety. The following elaborates on key usage details from four aspects: design selection, installation specifications, operation and maintenance, and safety control.
1、 Key points of design and selection
1. Accurate parameter matching
-Select the rated current based on the load characteristics (with a margin of 20%~30% reserved), and verify the short-time withstand current (Icw) and peak withstand current (Ipk) in high-voltage scenarios;
-Determine the protection level of the shell according to the laying environment (indoor ≥ IP4X, outdoor ≥ IP54), and choose stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized shell for corrosive places;
-High conductivity TMY copper bars are preferred as the conductor material, while aluminum busbars are only suitable for light load scenarios.
2. Structural form adaptation
-Dense busbar trunking is suitable for space limited areas, and air type is convenient for heat dissipation;
-The number of plug-in box interfaces needs to be planned in advance, and spare sockets should be reserved;
-The segmented module should be equipped with expansion joints (with a recommended length of ≤ 2m per section) to compensate for thermal expansion and contraction deformation.
2、 Installation Implementation Specification
1. Basic support treatment
-Metal brackets need to be reliably grounded (grounding resistance<4 Ω), and non-metallic brackets should be coated with fire-resistant paint;
-Horizontal deviation ≤ 2mm/m, vertical deviation ≤ 3mm/m, calibrated with laser level;
-When the span exceeds 6m, intermediate supports should be added to avoid excessive deflection caused by the self weight of the busbar.
2. Conductor connection process
-The bolt torque value shall be strictly executed according to the manufacturer's regulations (generally 80-100N · m for copper copper connections);
-After removing the oxide layer from the contact surface, apply conductive paste with a gap of less than 0.1mm between the overlapping surfaces;
-The phase sequence identification is clear and durable, and the three-phase color code complies with the GB/T 4026 standard.
3. Terminal sealing protection
-The head cover plate adopts double sealing rubber rings, and the interface is filled with fireproof mud;
-Install waterproof sleeves when passing through floors/walls, and seal both ends of the sleeves with flame-retardant materials;
-The end of the high-voltage busbar is equipped with an insulation cover to prevent corona discharge.
3、 Operation and maintenance management
1. Key points of daily inspection
-Monitor the temperature of the connector (detected by an infrared thermometer, normal operation ≤ 70 ℃);
-Check that there are no cracks or carbonization marks on the insulation components, and the insulation resistance value is greater than 10M Ω;
-Observe whether there is any abnormal vibration noise on the shell and whether the anti loosening marks on the fasteners are misplaced.
2. Response to special working conditions
-Activate automatic dehumidification device in humid environment, with humidity controlled below 85% RH;
-Clean the filter screen in the dust area once a month and prohibit violent tapping on the busbar casing;
-After a short circuit fault occurs, it is necessary to comprehensively test the insulation performance and conduct a withstand voltage test.
4、 Safety control requirements
1. Construction process management
-Maintain a safe distance during live working (10kV ≥ 0.35m, low voltage ≥ 0.1m);
-Cut off the power before cutting the busbar, and set up a warning fence in the work area;
-Timely recycling of discarded scraps to prevent safety hazards caused by copper material loss.
2. Emergency plan preparation
-Configure a dedicated power-off tool kit (including insulated gloves, voltage tester, and grounding rod);
-Develop emergency response procedures for fires and equip them with CO ₂ fire extinguishers;
-Regularly conduct emergency drills to ensure that power can be quickly cut off in case of sudden accidents.
By strictly adhering to the above usage standards, the failure rate of the busbar system can be significantly reduced and the service life of the equipment can be extended. In practical applications, it is necessary to combine the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Busbar Devices in Electrical Equipment Installation Engineering" (GB 50149) for full process quality control to ensure the safe and stable operation of the distribution system.
