Ultrasonic testing instrument for concrete structuresUsing the impact echo method for pile installation quality inspection, plate thickness measurement, and defect detection, only one probe and one application are needed to easily handle multiple application scenarios. Wireless probes and intuitive workflows are used to quickly collect data, connect to the cloud, and collaborate with colleagues in real-time.
Workflow function:
Comparison of all piles in a unified location
Single or flexible heatmap of shock echo
Defect/Object Marking
Traceable testing logs and simplified report generation
Simultaneously apply filter settings to all piles
Measurement results:
Impact monitoring
Exclude/include impact
Automatic peak detection
Automatic gain setting
Support large diameter piles
Key points of the operation process:
Preparation for testing area:
Clean and smooth surface, precise distance measurement;
The frequency of the transducer is selected according to the size of the defect: high frequency (small defect)>low frequency (large depth).
Data collection and processing:
The sound time value needs to be read multiple times to obtain a stable value;
During batch testing, statistical measures (such as standard deviation) are calculated using standardized formulas to estimate strength.
Interpretation of Results:
Sound speed>4.5km/s: high density;
Sudden drop in sound speed>15%: suspected cavity;
Amplitude attenuation>50%: there is looseness.
