Instructions for using the hammer type crushing and shrinking machine
Date: 2025-11-24Read: 0
Hammer crusher is a commonly used crushing equipment in mining, building materials, chemical, metallurgical and other industries, mainly used for crushing harder or brittle materials such as coal, limestone, ore, etc. It uses a high-speed rotating hammer to crush materials, and at the same time, grades the materials through a sieve to meet the required particle size. Hammer crushers have good production efficiency and low energy consumption in the material crushing process.
The following are the instructions for using the hammer crusher:
1. Installation and preparation
Installation location: Choose a flat and sturdy ground to install the hammer type crushing and shrinking machine, ensuring sufficient space around the machine for operation, maintenance, and cleaning. The machine must be installed in a site that meets safety standards.
Basic treatment: If necessary, pour and fix the foundation to ensure that the equipment is installed firmly and avoid vibration during operation.
Power supply connection: Connect the appropriate power supply according to the motor power requirements of the machine. Check if the electrical circuits and wiring terminals are securely connected, ensuring no looseness or poor contact.
Lubrication system: Check if the lubricating oil is sufficient and ensure that the lubrication system is working properly. The bearings, gears, and other parts of the hammer crusher should be regularly lubricated with oil to reduce wear.
2. Pre operation inspection
Material inspection: Confirm whether the materials entering the crusher meet the specified particle size requirements, and avoid entering materials that are too large or unsuitable for crushing.
Check the hammerhead and sieve: Check the wear of the hammerhead. If the hammerhead is severely worn, it should be replaced in a timely manner. Check if the sieve is intact and ensure that the sieve aperture meets production requirements.
Check the transmission system: Ensure that the fastening of transmission components such as drive belts and pulleys is good, without looseness or damage.
3. Power on operation
Start motor: Press the start button to start the motor. After the equipment runs smoothly, feeding can begin.
Feeding: Feed the materials that meet the requirements evenly into the crusher. It is recommended to use specialized feeding equipment (such as vibrating feeders) for material transportation to avoid excessive or uneven feeding.
Observing the operation: During the operation of the equipment, observe whether there are any abnormal sounds, vibrations, etc., to ensure the normal operation of the machine.
4. Operation process
Crushing process: The material is gradually crushed under the high-speed impact of the hammer, graded through a sieve, and the qualified particle size material passes through the sieve holes, while the unqualified material continues to be crushed by the hammer.
Discharge control: By adjusting the aperture size of the sieve, the particle size of the crushed product can be controlled. If it is necessary to adjust the crushing particle size, different aperture screens can be replaced, or the position and gap of the hammer head can be adjusted.
Temperature monitoring: Regularly check the temperature of the machine, especially the heating components such as motors and bearings, to avoid overheating and equipment damage.
5. Shutdown and Cleaning
Shutdown sequence: After completing the crushing task, the feeding equipment should be turned off first, and then the crusher should be stopped. Turn off the power and cut off the power cord.
Cleaning equipment: After shutdown, clean the residual materials inside and outside the machine, especially the hammer and screen parts, to prevent material accumulation and blockage.
Equipment inspection: Check the wear of hammer heads, screens, bearings and other components. If damage or severe wear is found, it should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner.
Electrical inspection: Ensure that the electrical components are functioning properly and free from potential hazards such as leakage and short circuits.
6. Maintenance and upkeep
Regular inspection: Regularly check the wear of hammer heads, screens, transmission systems, bearings, and other components. Hammer heads are vulnerable parts and should be replaced regularly based on wear and tear.
Lubrication and maintenance: Regularly add lubricating oil to the moving parts of the equipment (such as bearings, gearboxes, etc.) to maintain the normal operation of mechanical components.
Cleaning equipment: Regularly clean the inside and outside of the equipment to prevent material accumulation and affect its normal operation. Pay attention to safety during cleaning and avoid cleaning while the machine is running.
Maintenance plan: Based on the frequency of use and equipment operation, develop a regular maintenance plan, replace vulnerable parts in a timely manner, and ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment.
7. Common faults and troubleshooting
Fault 1: The device cannot start
Check the power supply and electrical wiring to ensure proper power connection.
Check if the motor is damaged and replace it if necessary.
Fault 2: Excessive equipment noise
Check if the hammer is loose or damaged, and promptly repair or replace it.
Check if bearings and gears need lubrication or replacement.
Fault 3: Poor crushing effect
Check whether the material meets the specified particle size requirements to avoid materials with excessive hardness or inappropriate particle size.
Check if the mesh aperture is suitable for current production requirements and replace the mesh in a timely manner.
Summary:
The use of hammer crusher mainly includes installation, operation, regular inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proper operation and maintenance can effectively extend the service life of equipment and maintain production efficiency. During use, special attention should be paid to the safety of the electrical components to ensure that the equipment operates in a safe and efficient state.
