The hydrogen generator is working normally and has passed self inspection

hydrogen generatorWhen the pressure of the hydrogen part cannot reach the set value, first observe the flow meter. If the flow display is larger than usual, it can be basically concluded that there is a leak point in the entire system. Solution: Turn off the power, remove the gas circuit, seal the hydrogen outlet tightly with a sealing nut, turn on the power, check if the pressure can reach the set value, and check if the flow rate display can reach "000". If the flow rate display can return to zero, it means that the hydrogen generator itself is not leaking gas. Please check whether the pipeline after the gas output port and the gas equipment are leaking gas. If the flow display cannot return to zero, there is a leakage point in the hydrogen generator. Please use soap solution to check if there is any leakage in the drying tube.

The drying tube of the hydrogen generator should be replaced regularly. When 50% of the discolored silica gel in the drying tube changes color, the internal packing should be replaced. Replacement method: Turn off the power and exhaust the system gas (pressure drops to zero). Unscrew the purification tube in the direction indicated by the arrow, then unscrew the end cap of the purification tube and replace the silicone desiccant. Packing treatment method: Bake the color changing silicone gel in a 120 ℃ oven for 12 hours; The molecular sieve is calcined in a muffle furnace at 250 ℃ -300 ℃ for 24 hours. When replacing the desiccant in the hydrogen generator, attention should be paid to placing all the degreased cotton into the tube to ensure that there is no impact on the sealing end face, so as to ensure that the end cap can be sealed after tightening.
When installing the hydrogen generator, tighten it in the direction indicated by the arrow. After starting up, use soap solution to detect leaks and ensure sealing. It is not allowed to wrap various sealing tapes on the threaded surface of the drying tube without authorization, otherwise it will cause the drying tube to crack and fail to seal. The hydrogen generator consumes electrolyte during operation, and distilled water should be regularly replenished according to usage conditions to ensure that the liquid level is between the upper and lower limit scales. It is recommended to replace the electrolyte every six months. When replacing the electrolyte, first remove the waste alkali solution from the hydrogen generator, add distilled water, start the hydrogen generator, and let the electrolysis system clean for about 5-10 minutes. Remove the distilled water and then add new electrolytic alkali solution. The flow rate display value of the hydrogen generator is based on the current variation loaded on the electrolytic cell. There may be slight changes in response to vibration, and the display value changes within ± 10, which is within the normal range. However, the flow supply can still output stably.
Before starting, prepare to add potassium hydroxide electrolyte (weigh KOH100g and dissolve it in 1L of high-purity water). Stir and dissolve the electrolyte thoroughly until it cools down before pouring it into the storage tank for use. Then add high-purity water without exceeding the upper limit water level line or falling below the lower limit water level line, and screw on the outer cover. The white substance in the liquid level tube is the lubricant at the interface of the liquid level tube, which does not affect its use. It will be fine after the entire liquid is replaced.
After installation, the solution can be used for a long time. When the water level is almost below the water level line, high-purity water should be added immediately. However, when adding water, it is necessary to prevent water leakage inside the instrument from causing a short circuit. If the instrument is not turned on for a long time or there is a lot of electrolyte residue accumulated after long-term use, the electrolyte should be replaced. Under normal circumstances, the electrolyte should be replaced after half a year of use of the instrument. To replace the electrolyte, first remove the electrolyte and residue from the storage tank, then tilt the instrument forward by 90 degrees. At this point, the electrolyte in the electrolytic cell will flow into the storage tank. Then, use an ear wash ball or pipette to remove the electrolyte from the tank, while being careful not to let the solution flow into other pipelines and cause pipeline corrosion.
The self-test of the hydrogen generator turns on the power switch and turns off the airflow switch of the purifier. At this time, the instrument pressure gauge begins to rise. The electrolysis indicator (green light) on the instrument panel lights up, and the digital flow display (digital display) should be greater than 300 and less than 350. Within 6 minutes, the pressure indicator (pressure gauge) should reach 0.4 MPa, and then the digital flow display drops by "000", indicating that the instrument system is working normally and the self-test is qualified.
