After every 120 hours of operation of the hydrogen generator, the color changing silicone on the back of the instrument should be replaced (do not reuse). The replacement of color changing silicone should be carried out in a pressure free state (note: do not suddenly release air at any time to avoid negative pressure impact and damage to components in the air path).

Use a wrench to unscrew the drying tube. First, remove the black O-ring, plastic tablet, and degreasing cotton from the air duct inside the drying tube. Use your thumb to press down on the outlet of the air duct and pour out the discolored silicone gel.

When filling with new silicone, use your thumb to hold down the outlet of the airway to prevent silicone particles from falling into the airway and blocking the gas path. The height of silicone filling should be slightly lower than the height of the outer sleeve of the airway tube. Exceeding this height will result in poor sealing between the drying tube and the drying tube cover, leading to air leakage.

After the silicone filling is completed, the bottom of the drying tube should be checked for silicone particles. If necessary, they should be removed and reinstalled to prevent silicone particles from entering the gas path and causing blockage. After replacement, check the airtightness.
