Air conditioning validation is the process of testing and confirming the performance of an air conditioning system
Date: 2025-07-30Read: 0
Air conditioning validation is a key step in ensuring that equipment performance, energy efficiency, safety, and comfort meet design standards and user needs, covering multidimensional testing from appearance to core performance.
Air conditioning validation is the process of testing and confirming the performance of an air conditioning system to ensure that it meets design requirements and regulatory standards during actual operation. It is mainly used in industrial fields such as electronic manufacturing that require a clean environment. Verify the cooling/heating capacity, air purification efficiency, and temperature and humidity control accuracy of the air conditioning system to ensure long-term stable operation and prevent environmental pollution or production problems caused by design defects or operational failures.
Appearance and structural verification
Shell integrity: Check whether there are scratches, dents, deformations or damages on the indoor and outdoor unit shells, and whether the paint surface is uniform and free of peeling.
Confirm that all components (such as filters and air deflectors) are securely installed without any looseness or abnormal noise.
Reasonable installation location: The indoor unit should be kept at an appropriate distance from the ceiling and walls to avoid affecting airflow circulation; The outdoor unit should be well ventilated, away from direct sunlight and rainwater immersion, and maintain a safe distance from surrounding objects.
Control function: Check whether the control panel buttons are sensitive and whether the function display is normal; Whether the signal reception of the remote control is good, and whether it can remotely control functions such as switches, mode switching, temperature adjustment, etc.
Electrical safety testing method: Use an insulation resistance tester to measure the insulation resistance between the power cord and the housing, and use a grounding resistance tester to check if the grounding is good.
Qualification criteria: Insulation resistance ≥ 2M Ω, grounding resistance ≤ 0.1 Ω.
Long term stability testing method: Run the air conditioner continuously for more than 8 hours and observe whether there are abnormal shutdowns, overheating, or performance degradation.
Qualification criteria: Check that core components such as compressors and fans are operating normally.
Environmental adaptability testing method: Run the air conditioner in harsh environments such as high temperature (43 ℃), low temperature (-15 ℃), and high humidity (90% RH) to test its startup and operation capabilities.
Qualification criteria: The air conditioner must start normally and operate stably in harsh environments.
