Safety and Standards: Emphasize special safety precautions for industrial wastewater testing, including protective treatment of heavy metal containing wastewater samples, standardized use of chemical reagents (such as strong oxidants and color developing agents), and key protection points for high-temperature digestion processes; Clarify the sampling standards, sample preservation, and pretreatment processes (such as coagulation and sedimentation, demulsification and oil removal, etc.) for different discharge outlets (pre treated and post treated discharge outlets) of enterprise production wastewater, and explain the impact of sampling time and frequency on detection results.
Maintenance and troubleshooting basics: Briefly explain the core points of daily instrument maintenance, such as probe cleaning, reagent storage, battery maintenance, etc; Briefly introduce the preliminary judgment methods for common faults such as unresponsive startup and data drift.
(2) Practical demonstration session (10:40-11:40)
The lecturer conducted a full process practical demonstration based on the core detection indicators of enterprise sewage, focusing on the key operating steps and exclusive precautions for industrial sewage detection:
Instrument initialization: Demonstrate the power on self-test process and explain how to determine the operating status of the instrument hardware (display screen, buttons, light source) and software system; Introduce the parameter adjustment methods for the system settings interface, such as date and time settings, measurement unit switching, etc.
Calibration operation: Taking COD (high range, suitable for detecting high concentration pollutants in industrial wastewater) and total nickel detection as examples, demonstrate the two-point calibration process - after cleaning the detection channel with deionized water, add blank solution and standard calibration solution in sequence, wait for the reading to stabilize, complete the calibration and save the parameters. Emphasize the shaking of the calibration solution before use, the adjustment points of the calibration cycle in industrial wastewater detection, and the operating norms to avoid cross contamination.
Sample testing: Demonstrate the pretreatment process of industrial wastewater samples (coagulation, settling, filtration), explain the standard addition of prefabricated reagents, the precise suction and digestion steps of water samples, and explain the key parameter settings of the multifunctional intelligent digestion instrument for different indicators; Put the processed sample into the instrument for testing, demonstrate the methods of data stability judgment and abnormal data review.
Data export: Demonstrate the operation steps of exporting detection data to a computer through a USB interface, and explain the interpretation method and archiving requirements of data files.

The instructor provides tour guidance to correct any non-standard operations, such as improper cleaning of the detection channel, errors in calibration solution preparation, and missing preprocessing steps.
Sample testing exercise: Using actual production wastewater samples from the enterprise (including comparison samples before and after pretreatment), complete the entire process from sample pretreatment, reagent addition, digestion to testing, record testing data, compare testing results between different groups, analyze the reasons for differences, and verify the correlation between testing data and the operation status of the enterprise's wastewater treatment system.
Fault simulation and troubleshooting: The instructor sets common fault scenarios, such as "instrument unresponsive", "large data fluctuations", "data export failure", etc., and divides the trainees into groups to troubleshoot and solve them, strengthening their grasp of fault handling methods.
Q&A: Participants may ask the instructor questions based on the actual problems encountered in the enterprise's sewage testing work, such as "pretreatment methods for high concentration oily wastewater", "calibration frequency adjustment when water quality fluctuates greatly", "emergency response procedures for exceeding detection data", etc. The instructor will answer them one by one and provide extended explanations based on industrial sewage testing cases.
