The structural design of the screw driven lifting furnace fully considers the special requirements in high-temperature environments
Date: 2025-09-14Read: 1

In modern industrial production, high-temperature treatment processes play a crucial role in improving material properties and controlling product quality. As a device that integrates high-temperature processing and precision mechanical transmission, the screw driven lifting furnace is widely used in fields such as material heat treatment, glass tempering, semiconductor manufacturing, etc. due to its ability to achieve precise lifting and lowering of the furnace body or workpiece in high-temperature environments.

The core of the screw driven lifting furnace lies in its screw drive system. The system converts the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion through the engagement of the screw and nut, thereby driving the furnace body or workpiece to move vertically. Specifically, when the motor drives the screw to rotate, the nut moves along the axial direction of the screw due to guiding constraints, thereby achieving the lifting and lowering of the furnace body. This transmission method not only achieves precise displacement control, but also has a certain self-locking function, that is, when the power is cut off or the drive is stopped, due to the screw's helix angle being smaller than the friction angle, the furnace body can remain in its current position and will not slide down due to gravity, thereby ensuring the safety of high-temperature operation.

The structural design of the screw driven lifting furnace fully considers the special requirements in high-temperature environments. Firstly, in order to suppress thermal deformation, low expansion coefficient alloys (such as Invar steel) were used as screw materials, and compensation algorithms were used to control thermal drift within a very small range. In addition, some designs also incorporate hollow screw embedded circulating water cooling channels to maintain stable operating temperature. In terms of high-temperature resistant transmission components, high-temperature alloy screws (such as GH4169) can maintain high yield strength at 950 ℃, while graphite embedded self-lubricating nuts avoid the problem of jamming caused by grease failure at high temperatures.

Screw driven lifting furnaces play an important role in multiple fields due to their ability to provide precise temperature and height control. In the field of material heat treatment, it can be used for quenching, tempering and other processes of metals, improving the mechanical properties of materials through precise control of heating and cooling processes. During the glass tempering process, this equipment ensures uniform heating and shaping of the glass at high temperatures. In semiconductor manufacturing, high-temperature processes such as diffusion and oxidation that can be used for wafer processing have a direct impact on the performance of semiconductor devices.

With the continuous advancement of industrial technology, screw driven lifting furnaces are also constantly innovating and developing. On the one hand, the application of intelligent control systems enables devices to monitor and adjust their operating status in real time, compensating for displacement deviations caused by thermal expansion through embedded temperature displacement coupling algorithms. On the other hand, the development of ultra-high temperature transmission materials has also provided possibilities for improving the performance of equipment, such as ceramic matrix composite material (SiC/SiC) screw, which has demonstrated excellent high temperature resistance and wear resistance in experiments.

In summary, screw driven lifting furnaces play a role in industrial production due to their precise transmission control, reliable high-temperature performance, and wide range of applications. With the continuous innovation of technology, its importance in future industrial high-temperature treatment processes will be further highlighted, providing stronger technical support for the development of the manufacturing industry.
