Daily maintenance checklist for semi-automatic die-cutting machine: key points for gear lubrication, belt tension, and electrical component inspection
Date: 2025-12-02Read: 0
To ensure the smooth operation, stable accuracy, and extended service life of the semi-automatic die-cutting machine, it is necessary to establish a daily inspection and maintenance system centered on gear lubrication, belt tension, and electrical components. The following are the inspection points for the three key dimensions.
1、 Lubrication and maintenance of gear transmission system
This is the core of ensuring smooth power transmission and reducing wear.
Regular lubrication: Strictly follow the cycle specified in the equipment manual, use the designated type of lubricating oil or grease to lubricate all open or oil filled moving pairs such as the main transmission gear, connecting rod mechanism bearings, slide rails, etc.
Oil quality and quantity inspection: Before starting up daily, check the oil level window of the gearbox to ensure that the lubricating oil is within the standard range and the oil quality is clean without emulsification or impurities. If the oil is found to be turbid, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
Abnormal noise and temperature rise monitoring: Check for abnormal noise during gear meshing during operation, and check for excessive temperature rise when touching the bearing seat. Both are early signs of poor lubrication or wear.
2、 Tension inspection and adjustment of belt transmission system
Belt tension directly affects transmission efficiency and positioning accuracy.
Tension feel check: Press the middle section of the belt between the drive motor and the flywheel with your hand while the machine is stopped. A normal belt should have moderate elasticity (usually with a sagging amplitude of 1% to 2% of the center distance between the two wheels). If it is too loose, it will cause slipping and weakness, while if it is too tight, it will exacerbate bearing wear.
Visual and auditory inspection: Observe whether the belt runs smoothly in the pulley groove during operation, and whether there is any abnormal jumping or shaking. Is there any "chirping" sound caused by slipping.
Regular adjustment and replacement: Check and adjust the position of the motor base according to the manual cycle to correct the tension. When cracks, wear, shiny or elongated surfaces are found on the belt, they must be replaced in pairs.
3、 Inspection of electrical components and safety devices
Ensure reliable operation and safe operation of equipment.
Wiring and cleaning: Check the wiring terminals of the main relays and contactors daily for looseness; Clean the dust inside the electrical box with dry compressed air to prevent short circuits.
Sensor function verification: Test whether safety devices such as photoelectric hand guards, dual hand synchronization buttons, emergency stop switches, etc. are immediate and effective. Clean the sensing head of the positioning sensor to ensure its sensitivity and reliability.
Motor and circuit status: There is no abnormal noise during the operation of the main motor, and the power cable should be checked for aging and damage. Record the operating current of the device, and an abnormal increase may indicate an increase in mechanical resistance.
Summary: Maintenance work should be documented in writing. Following the five step method of "cleaning inspection lubrication fastening recording" can eliminate most faults in their infancy, which is an economic investment to ensure production efficiency and equipment safety.
