Calcium iron analyzer is a key online/offline detection equipment used in industries such as cement, building materials, metallurgy, and geology to quickly determine the content of calcium oxide and iron oxide in raw materials or finished products. Its measurement accuracy directly affects ingredient control and product quality stability. However, long-term operation is susceptible to factors such as dust pollution, aging of X-ray tubes, and detector drift, which can lead to data bias. Establishing a systematic and periodic maintenance mechanism for calcium iron analyzers is the core to ensure their fast, accurate, and stable operation.

1、 Daily routine inspection (performed by operators)
Clean the injection port and sample chamber: Use a soft bristled brush or low pressure to remove accumulated dust and prevent dust from adhering and interfering with X-ray penetration;
Check the sample tray/conveyor belt: ensure no residue, no deformation, and the sample is placed flat;
Observe the operating status: Confirm that the instrument has no abnormal alarms, and that the high-voltage power supply and cooling fan are running normally.
2、 Weekly in-depth maintenance
Wipe the optical window: Use a lint free cloth dipped in a small amount of anhydrous ethanol to gently wipe the beryllium window of the X-ray tube outlet and detector window. It is strictly prohibited to press or use organic solvents with force;
Verify zero point and standard sample: Run the built-in self-test program and use certified standard samples (such as GBW series) to verify the accuracy of Ca and Fe channels. If the deviation is greater than 0.2%, recalibration is required;
Cleaning the cooling channel: Remove dust from the fan filter and cooling fins to prevent the X-ray tube from overheating and reducing power.
3、 Monthly functional testing
Check the vacuum/helium system (if applicable): Ensure stable optical path environment and avoid air absorption of low-energy X-rays (especially those that have a significant impact on Ca elements);
Test the stability of the high-voltage generator: record the fluctuations in tube current and voltage, and determine the lifespan of the X-ray tube (usually 8000-15000 hours);
Tighten electrical connections: Check if the high-voltage cable and signal line connectors are loose or oxidized.
4、 Quarterly professional maintenance
Replace the cooling oil or filter element of the X-ray tube (if it is an oil cooling system);
Re calibrate the working curve: update the calibration model for changes in raw material composition;
Entrust the manufacturer to conduct detector performance evaluation (such as Si PIN or SDD detector energy resolution testing).
