Working principle of AOX halogen combustion furnace
Date: 2024-12-19Read: 0
AOX halogen combustion furnaceIt is a specialized instrument used to detect the content of adsorbable organic halogens (AOX) in water, widely used in environmental monitoring, water quality testing, chemical, pharmaceutical and other fields, to evaluate the pollution level of organic halogens in water.
Working Principle:
The basic working principle of AOX halogen combustion furnace is high-temperature combustion oxidation. Placing water samples containing organic halogens in a furnace usually requires pre-treatment, such as adsorption and concentration of organic matter using adsorbents (such as activated carbon or diatomaceous earth). Then put the adsorbent with the adsorbed sample into a combustion furnace and burn it in a high temperature (usually between 900 ° C and 1150 ° C) and oxygen rich environment. Organic substances are oxidized at high temperatures, and organic halogens are converted into halide ions. Subsequently, these halide ions can be detected by ion chromatography or microcoulometry to determine the content of AOX in the water sample.
The AOX halogen combustion furnace uses high-temperature combustion method and ion chromatography or microcoulometry for detection, with high accuracy and precision. This instrument can quickly analyze the AOX content in samples, with an average analysis time usually between 3-10 minutes (excluding sample pretreatment process). The AOX halogen combustion furnace is easy and convenient to operate, equipped with an intelligent operation interface and self diagnostic function, allowing experimental personnel to easily set analysis parameters and monitor the experimental process in real time.
