To ensure the stable operation of the equipment, it is necessary to establish scientific maintenance and upkeep standards, as follows:
1、 Key points of daily maintenance
Check before use
Confirm that the power cord is not damaged and the grounding wire is firmly connected to avoid the risk of leakage.
Check whether the lighting system (such as LED tubes) is bright and uniform. If there is flickering or dark areas, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
Observe whether the workbench (usually made of transparent organic glass or anti-static material) is flat and scratch free to ensure smooth seed flow.
In use standard
Avoid using sharp tools that come into direct contact with the countertop to prevent scratches from affecting transparency.
Control the amount of seeds to prevent excessive accumulation from causing uneven airflow distribution and affecting separation efficiency.
If the equipment is equipped with a vibrating screen or airflow device, it is necessary to regularly check whether the vibration frequency and wind speed meet the standards (such as vibration frequency 50-60Hz, wind speed 0.5-1.0m/s).
2、 Cleaning and maintenance steps
Daily cleaning
Use a soft bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to remove any remaining seeds, impurities, and dust from the countertop to avoid blocking the airflow ducts.
Wipe the countertop and outer shell with a neutral cleaning agent (such as 75% alcohol solution), and prohibit the use of corrosive solvents (such as acetone, strong acids and bases).
After cleaning, wipe dry with a dry cloth to prevent moisture from seeping into the interior of the equipment.
Weekly in-depth maintenance
Disassemble detachable components (such as vibrating screens and dust collection boxes), rinse with clean water, and air dry to ensure no residue.
Check if the filter is clogged. If it is clogged, use compressed air to blow back or replace the filter with a new one.
Add lubricating oil to transmission components (such as motor bearings) to reduce wear.
Long term disuse treatment
After cleaning the equipment, cover it with a dust cover and store it in a dry and ventilated place to avoid short circuits caused by moisture.
Power on and run for 10 minutes every month to prevent parts from rusting or aging.
3、 Precautions
During maintenance, it is necessary to cut off the power and wear anti-static gloves to avoid personal injury and equipment static damage.
If any abnormal equipment is found (such as increased noise or decreased separation efficiency), it should be immediately stopped and professional personnel should be contacted for maintenance.
Regularly calibrate equipment parameters (such as vibration frequency and wind speed) to ensure compliance with the requirements of the "Regulations for Inspection of Crop Seeds" (GB/T3543).
