To verify the adaptability and performance boundary of the Jingjin three plunger pump for conveying high viscosity materials, the following glycerol conveying experiments were conducted: high viscosity glycerol (1400cps) conveying performance test, and low viscosity glycerol (50CPS) maximum conveying flow rate test.
Experimental content and results
(1) Experiment 1: Transport Performance Test of High Viscosity Glycerol (1400cps)
1. Purpose of the experiment
Evaluate the delivery capacity of the refined three plunger pump for high viscosity glycerol and test the stability of low flow delivery.
2. Material transportation
Analyze pure glycerol (viscosity 1400cps, density 1.26g/mL, room temperature 20 ℃).
3. Main equipment
Jingjin three plunger pump (inlet pipe: outer diameter of 10mm, PFA pipe; Export pipe: outer diameter
1/4”mm, PFA tube).
4. Experimental steps
(1)Conduct water benchmark testing;
(2)Pre experimental determination of glycerol delivery range (20-120mL/min);
(3) Perform glycerol delivery test, set the pump flow rate to 20, 40, 80, 100, and 120mL/min in sequence;
(4) Conduct a small flow rate (10mL/min) glycerol long-term delivery test.
5. Experimental data and analysis
(1) Glycerol delivery test

The flow setting is linearly related to the actual output (error ≤ 1%)

Glycerol (50cps, density 0.909g/mL).
3. Main equipment
Jingjin three plunger pump (inlet pipe: outer diameter of 10mm, PFA pipe; Export pipe: outer diameter 1/4 "mm, PFA pipe).
4. Experimental steps
(1)Conduct water benchmark testing;
(2) Low viscosity glycerol (50cps) delivery test: Set the pump flow rates to 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, and 1500ml/min for testing.
5. Experimental data and analysis

Jingjin three plunger pump can deliver low viscosity glycerol up to 1500mL/min;From visual observation, there is some shaking at the outlet when the flow rate exceeds 400mL/min, making it difficult to determine whether it is due to viscosity or a decrease in stability;Good linear relationship across the entire flow range
6.Experimental Summary
The Jingjin three plunger pump can support high flow delivery of low viscosity glycerol (50cps) (flow rate ≤ 1500mL/min). When the flow rate is greater than 400mL/min, there may be some shaking at the outlet, making it difficult to determine whether viscosity or flow stability has decreased,Good linear relationship across the entire flow range.
