Graphene has excellent material properties, such as enhancing the strength of composite materials, and is increasingly being used in the field of composite materials. However, it is difficult to peel off a single or several layers of graphene from graphite. Traditional oxidation-reduction methods require very strong oxidants and reducing agents. The graphene obtained in this case usually has defects.
Researchers are considering adding it as a reinforcement to the matrix material to improve its performance. However, the large specific surface area of graphene often causes it to aggregate together, which not only reduces its adsorption capacity but also affects the excellent performance of graphene itself, thereby affecting the improvement of the performance of graphene reinforced composite materials. Moreover, this agglomeration is irreversible unless external forces such as ultrasound and strong stirring are applied to evenly disperse it.
Ultrasonic vibration overcomes van der Waals forces with a high shear force of 20000 times per second, thereby preparing graphene with high conductivity, good dispersibility, and high concentration. Due to the controllable ultrasonic treatment process, it will not damage the chemical and crystal structure of graphene obtained through ultrasonic dispersion.
Advantages: High dispersion efficiency; Dispersed particles are finer and more uniform; Graphene is highly stable; Energy conservation and environmental protection.
