The most prominent and widely known function of power ultrasound in liquids is the dispersion effect. The dispersion effect of ultrasound in liquids mainly relies on the cavitation effect of ultrasound in liquids.

There are two factors that determine the dispersion effect: ultrasonic impact force; Ultrasonic radiation time.

Therefore, the average time t required for a specific particle in the treatment liquid to pass through this space is t=c * S/Q. Ultrasonic dispersion can be used without the need for emulsifiers in many situations Ultrasonic emulsification can obtain particles below 1 μ m. The generation of this emulsion is mainly due to the strong cavitation effect of ultrasound near the dispersing tool. Chemicals can disperse paraffin in water with a dispersed particle diameter of less than 1 μ m.
