The nucleic acid extractor should be familiar with its operating procedures and precautions before operation
Date: 2025-06-24Read: 1
The high degree of automation of nucleic acid extraction equipment greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy of nucleic acid extraction, reducing the errors and pollution risks caused by manual operation; Capable of processing large quantities of samples to meet the requirements of high-throughput detection; The extracted nucleic acid has high quality and purity, which is beneficial for the smooth progress of subsequent experiments. The requirements for samples are relatively strict, and different types of samples may require different processing methods and reagents, and the extraction effect for certain special samples may not be ideal; The maintenance and upkeep of equipment require certain professional knowledge and skills, and improper maintenance may affect the performance and service life of the equipment.
Measurement steps of nucleic acid extractor:
1. Select appropriate sample types according to experimental requirements, such as blood, tissue, cells, bacteria, viruses, etc., and perform necessary preprocessing, such as centrifugation, cryopreservation, etc.
2. Prepare the required reagents such as lysis buffer, washing buffer, elution buffer, etc. to ensure their integrity and effectiveness.
3. Add the processed sample into the corresponding well or test tube of the nucleic acid extractor, paying attention to the accuracy and consistency of the sample amount.
4. According to the sample type and experimental requirements, set the corresponding extraction program on the control panel, including parameters such as lysis time, washing times, and elution time.
After confirming that the settings are correct, start the instrument and the instrument will automatically perform operations such as sample lysis, nucleic acid adsorption, impurity removal, and nucleic acid elution according to the set program.
After the extraction is completed, remove the eluent containing nucleic acid and perform subsequent experimental operations such as PCR amplification, electrophoresis analysis, etc.
*Precautions
-Sample preparation: Ensure that the collection, storage, and transportation of samples meet the requirements, avoid contamination or degradation of samples, and use appropriate processing methods and reagents for different types of samples.
-Reagent selection and use: Select appropriate nucleic acid extraction reagents based on sample type and extraction requirements, and strictly follow the instructions for using the reagents, paying attention to the expiration date and storage conditions of the reagents.
-Equipment operation specifications: Before operation, one should be familiar with the operation process and precautions of the nucleic acid extractor, and follow the operation manual of the equipment to avoid equipment damage or extraction failure caused by misoperation; Regularly clean, calibrate, and maintain equipment to ensure its normal operation.
-Pollution prevention: During the nucleic acid extraction process, attention should be paid to preventing cross contamination, such as using disposable consumables and maintaining a clean operating environment, to ensure the purity and accuracy of the extracted nucleic acid.
