Precautions for using thin film evaporator
Date: 2025-12-02Read: 2

Thin film evaporators require attention to multiple aspects during operation and use to ensure the safe operation of the equipment and the safety of the operators. The following are the main precautions:
1. Preparation before operation
Equipment inspection: Before operation, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment should be carried out, including the integrity of the motor, reducer, scraper, heating element and other components, as well as the fastening of each connecting part.
Cleaning and disinfection: According to production needs, necessary cleaning and disinfection treatment should be carried out inside the evaporator to ensure that the materials are not contaminated.
Check the power supply and electrical system: Confirm that the power supply voltage is stable and meets the equipment requirements, and that there is no leakage in the electrical system.
Wear protective equipment: Operators should wear personal protective equipment such as protective clothing, gloves, goggles, etc. to avoid injury during operation.
2. Precautions during operation
Startup sequence: Follow the startup sequence specified in the equipment manual, first turn on the cooling water or heat transfer oil circulation system, and then start the motor and heater.
Monitoring temperature and pressure: During operation, the temperature and pressure changes inside the evaporator should be closely monitored to ensure that they fluctuate within the allowable range. If any abnormalities are found, the machine should be stopped immediately and the cause should be identified.
Observe the material status: Regularly check the flow status and evaporation effect of the material in the evaporator to ensure that the material is evenly distributed on the scraper and avoid local overheating or coking.
Prevent leakage: Pay attention to checking whether each sealing part is tight to prevent safety hazards caused by steam, material or heat medium leakage.
Avoid overload operation: It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment under overload conditions to avoid damaging the motor or other components.
3. Safety precautions
It is strictly prohibited to start the motor mixing when there is no liquid or full liquid: this may cause equipment damage or material contamination.
Reverse operation is strictly prohibited: Reverse operation may damage the internal structure of the equipment.
It is strictly prohibited to touch rotating parts during operation to prevent accidental injury.
