What are the factors that affect the lifespan of clean air PP medicine cabinets
Date: 2025-11-17Read: 2

Clean air typePP medicine cabinetIt is a storage device designed specifically for laboratories, mainly used to store acid-base reagents, corrosive drugs, and harmful chemicals, while also having the function of purifying the air.

Overall material:
Cabinet: Made of 8mm porcelain white film PP (polypropylene) board, it has corrosion resistance and is seamlessly welded with the same color welding rod to ensure the firmness and sealing of the cabinet.
Cabinet door: Made of 15mm porcelain white film PP (polypropylene) whole board, with long service life and guaranteed quality.
Laminated board: Made of porcelain white PP (polypropylene) board with vertical edges around it, injection molded in one go. The overall design is movable, which can be freely extracted and placed in suitable compartments, and the space of each layer can be freely combined. The surrounding edges can achieve a certain degree of anti overflow effect.
Influencing factors and lifespan data:
Material grade:
Industrial grade PP: Under standard conditions (23 ℃/50% humidity, no load), the aging life can reach 8-10 years. If antioxidants and anti UV agents are added, the molecular chain regularity is greater than 95%, and the corrosion resistance is stronger.
General grade PP: The lifespan under standard conditions is 5-7 years, but without the addition of special additives, long-term exposure to strong oxidants (such as 30% hydrogen peroxide) may shorten it to 1-2 years.
Usage environment:
Chemical corrosion: PP material is resistant to strong acids and alkalis, but frequent contact with strong oxidants can accelerate aging. For example, after using PP fume hoods in grassroots laboratories, corrosion problems were significantly reduced and the lifespan was extended to over 1 year.
Temperature: PP is not resistant to high temperatures (<80 ℃), and high temperature environments may affect structural stability.
Load frequency:
Dynamic loads (such as opening and closing 10 times a day) have a small impact on lifespan, but opening and closing 50 times a day may increase the risk of lock fracture. Static loads exceeding the load-bearing standard (such as 10kg → 15kg) will cause deformation of the bottom.
