Single layer glass reactorWith its high transparency and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in laboratory experiments such as synthesis, distillation, and concentration. Standardized operation and detail control are key to ensuring experimental safety and accuracy of results.
1、 Standard operating procedures
preliminary preparation
Check the integrity of the equipment: confirm that the kettle body, stirring blade, condenser tube, feeding port and other components are not damaged or cracked; The sealing gasket has no aging or deformation.
Cleaning equipment: Use distilled water or specialized cleaning agents to clean the kettle body and pipelines, remove residual impurities, and air dry before use.
Material preparation: According to the experimental requirements, prepare the reaction materials in advance and confirm their compatibility with glass and sealing components.
Equipment assembly
Installation of kettle body: Place the kettle body steadily on the bracket, fix the buckle, and ensure that the kettle body is vertical without shaking.
Connecting components: Install the mixing blade, condenser tube, feeding funnel, and thermometer probe in sequence, and apply an appropriate amount of vacuum grease or sealant to each interface to ensure sealing effect.
Connecting pipelines: According to experimental requirements, connect inlet and outlet pipes, vacuum pipes, nitrogen protection pipes, etc.
Feeding and debugging
Feeding: Slowly add the reaction material through the feeding port, with a feeding amount not exceeding 2/3 of the kettle volume, to prevent material overflow during the reaction process.
Sealing inspection: Close all valves, turn on the vacuum pump for negative pressure testing, and confirm that there is no air leakage before proceeding to the next step.
Mixing debugging: Connect the power, start the mixer at low speed, observe whether the mixing blade runs smoothly without any jamming or abnormal noise, and then adjust it to the target speed.
Reaction process control
Temperature control adjustment: According to the experimental requirements, adjust the temperature through a water bath or oil bath, slowly raise/lower the temperature, and avoid sudden temperature changes that may cause the kettle to break.
Real time monitoring: closely observe the material status, temperature, and pressure changes inside the kettle during the experiment, record reaction time and key parameters.
Feeding/Sampling: If it is necessary to add or sample midway, the mixing and pressure relief should be stopped before proceeding to prevent material splashing.
post-processing
Stop reaction: After the experiment is completed, turn off the heating/cooling device and wait for the temperature inside the kettle to drop to room temperature before stopping stirring.
Discharging material: Slowly open the vent valve to release pressure, confirm that there is no pressure, then open the discharge port or disassemble the kettle body for material collection.
Equipment cleaning: Clean the kettle body and all components with appropriate cleaning agents in a timely manner, remove residual materials, and store them properly after drying.
2、 Core precautions
Security protection category
Wear protective goggles, acid and alkali resistant gloves, and laboratory clothing during operation to avoid material contact with skin and eyes.
It is strictly prohibited to heat an empty kettle or operate it under excessive temperature or pressure. The glass kettle body must withstand temperature and pressure in accordance with the equipment manual requirements.
If there is a biological material leakage or equipment rupture, immediately stop the operation, cut off the power, clean up the leaked material, and take emergency measures.
Equipment maintenance category
The sealing gasket needs to be replaced regularly to prevent air and liquid leakage caused by aging; The agitator bearings need to be regularly lubricated with oil.
When the equipment is not used for a long time, it needs to be cleaned and dried. A desiccant should be placed inside the kettle to prevent the glass components from getting damp and moldy.
Avoid collision and falling of the kettle body, and prohibit scratching the inner wall of the kettle with hard objects to prevent damage to the glass.
Experimental operation category
It is forbidden to suddenly stop or reverse the mixer when it is running at high speed. The speed should be reduced before stopping to prevent damage to the motor and mixing blade.
When corrosive, flammable and explosive materials react, nitrogen protection and explosion-proof measures should be taken, and they should be kept away from fire sources.
Temperature control should be gradual and the temperature difference should not exceed 5 ℃/min to prevent glass from cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction.
