Convenience of maintenance: Choosing electrode materials and flowmeter structures that are easy to replace and maintain can reduce the difficulty and cost of equipment maintenance. For example, some standardized electrode materials and interface designs, as well as flow meters with online maintenance functions, can facilitate users to quickly replace and repair them.
Other considerations
Electrode form: When the measuring medium does not have crystalline characteristics and will not contaminate the electrode, a standard electrode can be selected. When measuring media with the characteristics of easy adhesion and precipitation of substances, special forms of electrodes such as pointed or hemispherical protruding electrodes, replaceable electrodes, scraper type cleaning electrodes, etc. should be selected to prevent electrode contamination and affect measurement accuracy.
Integrated and Split Type: The integrated electromagnetic flowmeter integrates sensors and converters together, with a compact structure and easy installation, suitable for situations with good on-site environmental conditions and limited space. The split type electromagnetic flowmeter separates the sensor and the converter, and connects them through cables. It is suitable for situations where the converter is not suitable for installation in harsh on-site environments such as high temperature, humidity, corrosive gases, etc., or where the converter needs to be installed in a control room far away from the sensor for centralized monitoring.
