EGTAir content analyzerFor a transparent acrylic resin cast pipe with a diameter of2”(5cm), wall thickness1/4”(0.6cm)The sample capacity is approximately1.5Pint(700ml).
EGTAir content analyzerThe measurement principle is based on Boyle's theory(Boyles)Gas equation(P1×V1=P2×V2)During measurement, rotate a knob towardsEGTApply a pressure of one atmosphere to the test sample (approximately15psi). The pressure is indicated by a sealed bubble in the pressure indicator. When an atmospheric pressure is applied, the volume of the bubble decreases by half, that is, the volume of all gases in the sample decreases by half, because the volume of the sample chamber is constant and known. So we can calculate the percentage coefficient of air content represented by each rotation of the knob.
After applying an atmospheric pressure, record the number of rotations of the knob, subtract the correction factor, and multiply by the above air content percentage factor to obtain the percentage content of air. It is extremely convenient and fast to use, and has gradually become one of the tools for paper mills and related chemical suppliers.
Before use, it is necessary toEGTAir content analyzerPerform calibration, during which the volume of the sample can be obtained, and the percentage of air content represented by one rotation of the knob. The blank value of the knob can also be measured and added to the volume of the pressure indicator as a correction factor.
EGTEGTAir content analyzerEquipped with two types of lids: standard lid is used to pour the test solution into the test tube for testing, such as when the concentration of the slurry is higher than1%Another type is a low concentration cap, used for direct liquid filling testing from pressure pipelines, where the slurry concentration may be lower than1%.
It is necessary to know the volumes when using these two different test covers separately, as there is a slight difference in valve volume. Under normal circumstances, the calibration procedure only needs to be performed once. However, if the valve or inner tube of the thick cover is replaced, another calibration must be performed, and the calibration time will not exceed one hour, which can help familiarize oneself with the instrument. To prevent small bubbles from adhering to the inner wall of the tube, a very small amount of soap solution can be added to lubricate the inner wall before testing.
