How to use the plug and socket temperature rise tester correctly
Date: 2025-12-24Read: 1
Plug and socket temperature rise testerIt can be used to assess the surface heating of electrical accessories when connected to load current, whether the electrode temperature rise meets the standard requirements, and whether the plug and socket sleeves are thin, and whether the plug and socket fit well.
1、 Operation steps
Preparation work:
Confirm the tester model and specifications, and check the equipment status (such as connections, power supply, sensors).
Ensure that the testing environment (temperature, humidity, ventilation) meets the requirements and take appropriate safety measures (such as emergency stop buttons and insulated gloves).
Prepare tools and materials (such as connecting wires, sensors, thermometers).
Installation and Connection:
Install the tester on the electrical equipment and connect the power cord (plug or bare wire).
Attach the sensor to the heat dissipation component and connect it to the display (data cable or wireless).
Connect the power supply and ensure that the power cord is properly connected.
Setting and Debugging:
Turn on the power switch and observe if the display screen is functioning properly.
Calibrate the tester according to the instructions (adjust if the temperature value is known).
Set test parameters (current, voltage, time) to ensure compliance with test requirements and equipment rated conditions.
Start testing:
Press the start button to start the temperature rise test, observe the display screen to ensure that the temperature data is normal.
Real time recording of key data such as temperature and time using data recording devices or software.
Observe the appearance and working condition of the test sample, and immediately stop testing and investigate any abnormalities (such as heating or smoking).
End of testing and data processing:
After reaching the set temperature or time, turn off the power switch.
Analyze whether the degree of temperature rise meets the test requirements and evaluate the temperature rise performance of the equipment.
