Maintenance Guide for Cold and Hot Shock Test Chamber
Date: 2025-08-25Read: 0
As a precision equipment for simulating special temperature environments, the stability and reliability of the thermal shock test chamber directly affect the accuracy of the test results. Scientific maintenance not only extends the lifespan of equipment, but also ensures the authenticity of experimental data. The following is the maintenance plan for the system:
1、 Daily basic maintenance
1. Appearance and Cleaning
-After the daily experiment, wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the box with a dry soft cloth to remove dust and stains, and focus on cleaning the gaps in the door seal to prevent impurities from affecting the airtightness.
-If there is a lot of dust in the environment, it is recommended to clean the heat dissipation holes and ventilation grilles with a vacuum cleaner every week to avoid blockage and poor heat dissipation.
-Do not use corrosive cleaning agents to avoid damaging the coating and electronic components of the box.
2. Status monitoring
-Before starting up, check if the power cord, water pipe (if any), and air pipe connections are secure and free from aging and cracking.
-Observe whether the control panel display is normal, whether the alarm function is sensitive, and pay special attention to the response speed of the over temperature protection device.
-Pay attention to the working sound of the compressor and fan during operation. Abnormal noise may indicate bearing wear or foreign object jamming.
2、 Special maintenance of core components
1. Refrigeration system
-Regularly check the oil level of the freezer. If the oil color is cloudy, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent lubrication failure from exacerbating compressor wear.
-When the frost thickness on the surface of the evaporator exceeds 3mm, the defrosting program should be initiated. Long term frost accumulation will reduce the heat exchange efficiency.
-It is strictly prohibited to frequently open and close the box door, with each opening and closing time not exceeding 30 seconds, in order to reduce the impact of temperature and stress on the refrigeration system.
2. Electrical control
-PLC modules and relay contacts are susceptible to arc erosion, and contact resistance testing should be conducted at least once a year.
-Backup program parameter settings to prevent system crashes caused by misoperation, and export important data to external storage devices.
-The emergency stop button function is tested once a month to ensure that the power can be immediately cut off in case of emergencies.
3、 Management during downtime
-When not in use for a long time (>1 month), the water tank should be emptied and the inner container should be wiped dry, and anti rust oil should be applied to the exposed surface of the metal.
-When covering the equipment, leave space for heat dissipation and avoid direct contact between the moisture-proof cover and the electrical box. The recommended storage environment temperature is 10-25 ℃ and humidity is less than 60%.
-Before restarting, it is necessary to run without load for 2 hours, confirm that the refrigerant circulation is normal, and then load the sample.
4、 Warning Notice
Unauthorized modification of equipment structure or replacement of non original accessories is prohibited, as it may result in the failure of safety protection.
It is strictly prohibited to touch the outer shell of the box under high temperature conditions to prevent burns; Wear antifreeze gloves when operating at low temperatures.
Immediately shut down for maintenance in the following situations: continuous high pressure alarm of the compressor, severe condensation in the test area, and temperature deviation exceeding the set value of 5 ℃.
Through standardized maintenance, the thermal shock test chamber can maintain optimal performance, reduce failure rates, and provide stable support for product reliability testing. It is recommended to establish equipment archives to record the maintenance content and replacement part information for each maintenance, in order to facilitate traceability and management.
