The ST70 spectrophotometer is a high-precision portable color measurement device launched by 3nh San'enshi. It adopts advanced spectroscopic technology and photoelectric conversion technology, which can accurately measure the surface color of objects and provide reliable data support for color quality control. This instrument integrates a large-area photodiode array sensor, a full spectrum LED light source, and a UV light source, supporting simultaneous measurement by SCI/SCE. It is widely used in industries such as plastic electronics, paint and ink, textile and clothing printing and dyeing, printing, ceramics, etc.

Measurement steps for ST70 spectrophotometer standard and sample
1、 Standard sample measurement
1. Measurement steps for standard samples
-Enter the 'Measurement' menu on the main interface, which defaults to the standard sample measurement interface;
-Align the testing port with the standard sample, ensuring that the surface of the sample is flat and covers the measuring aperture;
-Press the TEST button on the right side of the host to measure, and the measurement result will be displayed after about 1.5 seconds;
-Check the measured parameter values, confirm that they are correct, and press the SAVE key to save them;
2. Naming of standard samples
-When saving the standard sample, you can press the UP or DOWN key to enter the box and confirm with the ENTER key. Press the UP or DOWN key to modify the sample name. After modification, select 'OK' and press ENTER to save. After saving, you can press the ENTER key to view the spectral reflectance.
2、 Sample measurement
1. Sample measurement steps
-After completing the standard sample measurement, press the MENU button to enter the sample measurement interface;
-Align the testing port with the sample to ensure that the measurement conditions are consistent with the standard sample;
-Press the TEST button for measurement, and the instrument will automatically calculate the color difference between the sample and the standard sample;
-Viewing the measurement results, the system will display the Δ E value and the qualified/unqualified judgment;
2. Color difference judgment criteria
-Δ E ≤ 1: The color difference is extremely small and difficult for the human eye to distinguish;
-1<Δ E ≤ 2: Small color difference, acceptable range;
-Δ E>2: The color difference is significant and exceeds the acceptable range;
-The specific tolerance standards need to be set according to product requirements and industry standards;
After the measurement is completed and the data is saved, place the instrument in the calibration base and press and hold the power button to turn off. If the instrument is not used for a long time, please ensure that it is stored in a dust-free and dry environment.
