Introduction to the principle and application of liquid nitrogen droplet machine
Date: 2025-10-24Read: 18
Liquid nitrogen droplet machineIt is a device that utilizes the ultra-low temperature characteristics of liquid nitrogen to rapidly freeze liquid or semi-solid materials into bead shaped particles. This device utilizes the ultra-low temperature characteristics of liquid nitrogen (-196 ℃) to accurately drip liquids (such as biological samples, reagents, materials) at micro to milli level doses through a precision metering pump. The droplets vaporize instantly upon contact with liquid nitrogen and absorb heat, achieving "second level" freezing. This process forms tiny ice crystals, minimizing damage to cell structure and preserving the flavor, nutrients, and active ingredients of the liquid.
Liquid nitrogen droplet machineIt has a high degree of safety and automation, equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as liquid nitrogen leak alarm system and overpressure protection device. Its automated control system allows users to preset liquid nitrogen drip parameters, and the equipment can operate automatically, reducing manual intervention errors and risks. Meanwhile, equipment maintenance is relatively simple, and key components are easy to disassemble and replace.
The liquid nitrogen droplet machine can be used in the biomedical field for cell cryopreservation. It accurately drips liquid nitrogen around the cryovial containing the cell suspension, reducing the damage of ice crystals to the cell structure. In the food processing industry, high-end food can be quickly frozen and preserved to prevent excessive ice crystals from damaging cell structure. In the chemical industry, it can be used for catalyst preparation to achieve homogenization of catalyst particles.
